I've been saying for many years, and on many forums including this one, NEVER give a deposit.  You've learned a valuable lesson, my friend.

Part 2 of that lesson is, that as far as I can determine, she doesn't actually provide and the ad is a scam.  I could be wrong about that but I can find no evidence other than that one ad on Eros that she provides.

There's one suggestion I can make:  she apparently is on sextpanther.  You could sign up for an account there, and contact her and let her know what happened.  If she does provide, maybe you can arrange something with her direct.  But, if she doesn't provide, she might just tell you what you already know - it was a scam.  Of course, the same people who set up the fake ad could have a fake account for on sextpanther too so you might want to share a video (not a phone call or still picture because both of those could be faked)  to be sure it's really her before you bring up what happened.

Look at it this way - it’s safe to ASSUME the vast MAJORITY of have been “GYPPED” in one way or another, especially those of us who’ve been in the game the LONGEST.
The main difference is in the degree of MAGNITUDE.
This is a lesson for ALL of us - if you HAVE to leave a deposit, make sure it’s an amount it wouldn’t HURT you to lose..
Losing a deposit, of say, $50 bucks, would certainly STING, but 1K?
Man, that would be PAINFUL, for most of us.  😫
If anything, I would only leave that kinda deposit with a REPUTABLE agency.
They’re less likely to jeopardize their future business prospects by gypping a potential client out of their deposit.  

Define "reputable".

IIRC correctly, and you can go back and search this forum 2+ years ago for evidence, that both Perfection Models and Lourdes Enterprises, both supposedly "reputable" agencies have asked for deposits for some of their ladies... and screwed over clients.  

NEVER give a deposit.  Never.  If they want your business, they'll deal with you without a deposit.  If they insist on a deposit, something is fishy.

Eros's method of verifying ads basically amounts to "did the payment clear"?

Similar situation. Tried to book in LV for mid March. Wanted a 50% deposit. Sarah was dismissive so told her was not giving a deposit to a new pornstar I didn’t know. Didn’t have to do this with the past 30 pornstars I have seen. This is a SCAM!

Where do i begin?  First off, some new on the scene porn star has you SO smitten  with her that you just HAD to see her NOW? Never mind the fact that there is NOTHING seperating her looks wise from any other plastic blonde  bimbo out here. Come on man. You actually sent this girl a grand as a deposit? I don't give a damn how crazy i am about my faves: A deposit of 50% is not something i would ever consider. And to make matters worse, you had NO idea what kind of experience she would provide once you got with her.
