The Bunny Ranch's cut is 50%, which is at least 10% higher than the porn agencies like Body Miracle, so the girl has to try to hit one out of the park on every at-bat.  But rates at the Ranch are HIGHLY negotiable... they always start out high, but can be bargained down, especially if it's slow.

The major problem I have with the BR, and the reason I'd never go there unless one of my VERY ATFs were to appear there exclusively, is the total coverage that is the rule (not sure but it may even be Nevada state law).  No BBBJ is a total deal breaker for me.

I agree with Eddie- but I think the cbj is Nevada law- also- the 50% cut makes it very expensive-  Its not easy to get to- Reno and Clark county don't have legal prostitution so most of these places are about an hours drive-  no bbbj and high costs-  I think you are better off seeing a traveling girl (preferably independent) or going to LA- where from posts here there are several independents who will see you at a reduced rate b/c they don't have the traveling expense to deal with

I went to the BM about 5 years ago and to confirm Eddie's information, rates are negotiable.  After being quoted what I felt was too high of a price, I negotiated down to a suggested two girl show - one being a porn star -for what I felt was reasonable enough for 2 hours. First off, about the rules. All sexual activity at any legal Nevada brothel is supposed to be "covered", by state law. However, the statutes do not specify what (beyond intercourse) exactly constitutes "sexual activities". The general assumption might be that fellatio rqauires a condom to be used and cunnilingus necessitates a dental dam or some other form of barrier. However, I have found that to be not always true, especially in the case of oral on the ladies. In fact, I've only had two instances (out of about 30-40 total) where I went down on a brothel courtesan (adult star or regular house lady) with a barrier in place. I have also experienced many BBBJs there in the brothels, but that is more often the exception rather than the rule.

Of course, a condom is required for all forms of vaginal or anal penetration (and if anyone has a problem with that, too bad). Some houses may insist that a condom be used during fellatio, as may many ladies, but its use in the brothels isn't by any means universal. However, it's best not to specifically bring up this particular subject yourself, so if lack of a BBBJ is going to be a deal-breaker for you, you're likely better off sticking to indie adult stars (or porn star agency ladies).

Now on to pricing. Here is my history with adult stars at the Moonlite BunnyRanch (MLBR) and its sister house, The Love Ranch (TLR - f/k/a the BunnyRanch Two, and for many years before that, Kitty's). I've partied with a total of 5 or 6 AFS Courtesans at these two specific houses (depending on whether you count the legendary Air Force Amy as an adult star or not) and the average hourly rate for this group as a whole was between $500 and $800. The range accounts for variations on length of party, activities within, how "big" or "well known" the lady is in the porn world, the participation of additional ladies, and to the prevailing general rates for the specific time period (2001 thru 2007) in which the encounters took place. As others have noted, you must negotiate each party seperately, and all of the factors I mentioned will play into the final price (plus other things - such as if the lady has or hasn't been booking a lot of parties, whether or not she's seen you before, etc.).

This has been my experience at Dennis Hof's houses, yours may vary. But I've found that with a little knowledge and experience, you certainly don't have to be scared off by the false assumption (resulting mainly from protrayals on the show "Cathouse") that the MLBR/TLR and their adult star courtesans are only realisticly available for those to whom money is no object.

...to the best of my knowledge, Sunset never again appeared at the MLBR or Dennis Hof's other legal brothel (now known as The Love Ranch). Immediately after their breakup, she went to work over at the competing Kit Kat Guest Ranch there in Mound House, NV before eventually leaving LPIN altogether. Last September (2008), she returned to Nevada to make one last "farewell appearance" as a legal courtesan out at one of Lance Gilman's houses, the Wild Horse Adult Resort & Spa, off I-80 near Patrick, NV.

While it is true that the legal brothels in southern Nevada are about an hour's drive outside of Las Vegas, that is definitely NOT the case in the Reno/Carson City area. Both the Wild Horse and the World Famous Mustang Ranch are a mere 16 miles from downtown Reno (and RNO airport) via I-80 - and even closer to Sparks. Also, the four large brothels located in Mound House are only 5-6 miles east of the State Capitol building in Carson City via U.S. 50.

As for higher costs, on average that is likely to be true. However, for some the legality more than makes up for that factor. Plus the facilities available in a brothel include some specialty rooms which the average traveling indie cannot possibly provide. Also, as I mentioned above in my reply to Eddie, BBBJs aren't as rare in LPIN as one might assume. So the legal cathouses and the ladies who work within do have their selling points. But to each their own!

As i said, I know the rules there (at the ranches), I have my own preferences, & that's that...I know for an absolute certainty that I could not have a good time at a ranch, & will never go there...Period. Done. End of Story...

Now, I can see why some would like the ranches....It's legal...They have the bars, whirlpools, etc., thus it can have the feel of being at a luxury resort...They probably always have alot of stars working, so they're ample choices....I get that..

But i also get that it's not for me either....To each their own...

You are absolutely right, Speed Racer.  The costs are higher (albeit "negotiable"), but for some of us, it is worth the extra cost to know that there is not some derelict vice cop salivating at the opportunity to arrest someone for a victimless crime.

And you are also right about the party atmosphere.  You can skip the lineup, and simply hang out at the bar to relax, and to appreciate the beauty and personalities of some of the lovely ladies.  And when you find that chemistry that typically leads to a "one night stand," you are on your way to an enjoyable and sometimes memorable experience.
