Well, I am not sure if this is the proper place to be asking such a question, but I'll do so anyway. How much do typical high end PSE and GFE providers make yearly after expenses are factored in, assuming a standard workload? I'm just very curious, since I am a finance nerd.

That question will never be answered - nor should it.

I agree it won't be answered here. It's not a stupid question and if a PSE or high end Escort wants to answer it, it's their choice.  BaalHammon, realize it won't be a truthful answer. I often wonder if they report there true earnings to Uncle Sam, doubt it!

why not? We know what every sport player makes, What every entertainer makes.

Avg per hour is about $500

On average they see about 3 clients a day for an average of 1.5 hours so:

$500 X 3 X 1.5= $2250 per day

$2250 X 7 days a week = $15750 per week

$15750 X 50 weeks (holiday factored in) = $787500 per year (Gross)

After tax ~27% in the USA unless they are in Nevada/Alaska = $574875 (Gross after tax)

After hotel costs ($300/day X 7 days = 2100) and acessories (7 dollars per box X 50 weeks =$350)= $574875 - $2450 =$572,425

NET income of PSE/GFE = approximately $572,425

$500 an hour? Maybe sometimes more, sometimes much less. The rates I see posted all over the web don't reflect that figure.

1.5 hour average? Where did you get that stat from?

3 clients a day 7 days a week?  If you had a vagina you would know that this will never happen...

Taxes? Sure, most of them file some sort of return but do you honestly think anyone who makes 100% of their income off the books actually declares it all?!

$300 a night for a hotel room? Good thing you are not a travel agent, you would have no business!  Think much lower.

$7 a box? For what? And what about travel expenses, wardrobe, cosmetics, advertising, possible agency or assistant fees, medical expenses and many other miscellaneous expenses that all come right off of a provider's bottom line.

Most ladies who charge 500+ an hour....charge that amount of money because they do not want to have an endless non stop stream of clients to deal with on a daily bases. Usually the higher the fee the less clients the lady will see, but she does make more money...and that affords her the opportunity to upgrade everything about herself. Here is a list of things to consider:

1. Taxes (upscale ladies pay them, and the IRS could care less how the funds are generated.

2. Health insurance (I am doubting Obamas plan will ever take effect) so until then we will fork out hugeeeeeeeeeee payments to our insurance companies for private insurance. Doctors visits, prescriptions, deductibles on and on.

3. Rent/Mortage, we are generally able to afford very nice homes, we may have to entertain a client in our home so we have to maintain a very nice comfortable abode = professional house cleaners, all electronics are top notch, property insurance, interior design items are murderously expensive. Don't forget the endless trips to the liquor store so as to never be out of anything top shelf. Same is true with the snacks everything from Sushi-Filet Mignon is available.

4. Going to the salon/spa is no longer a luxury it is part of our weekly routine to maintain smooth skin, perfect hair, toes, lashes, and nails.

5. Keeping a hobby friendly lawyer on retainer.

6. Tours, leaving the house requires no less than 2-4 grand out of pocket. Eros VIP can run $1,000 a month, Date-Check premium ads can run almost $400.00.

7. Photos, some photographers are very good but may not be in a gals areas. A phenomenal photographer can charge a cool 2k per shoot, be booked for months at a time and never bat an eye.

8. Websites can cost thousands to have them built and maintained.

9. Clothes, besides the fact that we are women and most of us are addicted to shoes/clothes anyway....add to it high end providers should have almost every color and style of lingerie imaginable to mankind. Even I own a La Perla set.....cost me a cool $300.00, I surprised my ATF.....and no he still has no clue how much that set cost.....he probably would faint if he knew, but I know he loves lingerie

10.  Paying for memberships to site such as TER, P411 (ads) Date-Check (ads) RS2K, DangerZone, paying a screener/booker.

11. It's either the gym or a great surgeon......cost depends on what is getting worked on.

12. Transportation, babysitters, college, buying cases of condoms and lube....along with unbelievable collections of sex toys/furniture.

So at the end of the year we do make a very nice living, but we pay to maintain our lifestyle. Most of the stuff I mentioned has no way to work around it. I would not want to fork out $500.00 + and be offered a Pabst Blue Ribbon, instead of the usual Single Malt Scotch I am used to.

Those figures are just plain nuts.

First of all, none of the porn star or model escorts I know work 7 days a week, every week, at least not at escorting.   And you forgot to factor in things like their monthly visit when they can't work, time for families (particularly if they're married or have children), illness and other things.

Therefore, your gross income figures are, by my guess, at least 5 times too high.  $300 a day for rooms?  Hardly.  In NYC, the rooms can be far more than that - one woman I know was paying $500 per day for the room.  If they maintain an apartment for escorting work, there's rent to pay.  You left out things like clothes, makeup, jewelry, plane fares, taxis, food, medical check-ups, agency fees, advertising, and probably a lot more "expenses" that I'd come up with if I thought about it more.

My guess at NET income (from escorting) for most would probably be somewhere in the $80K-$150K range.  And, that might even be too high an estimate since I don't know all the "expenses" they have...

Looking at the average high end PSE who probably works a bit less than 7 days a week for 50 weeks who has a rate of $1500 we can use the following calculations:

Avg fee per hour is about $1500

On average they see about 2 clients a day for an average of 1.5 hours so:

$1500 X 2 X 1.5= $4500 per day

$4500 X 3 days a week = $13500 per week

$13500 X 30 weeks (holiday factored in) = $405000 per year (Gross)

After tax ~27% in the USA unless they are in Nevada/Alaska = $295650 (Gross after tax)

After hotel costs ($300/day X 5 days = $1500) and acessories (7 dollars per box X 40 weeks =$280)= $295650 - $1780 =$293870

NET income of PSE/GFE = approximately $293870

And if we include into these calculations car payments, possible mortgage, property taxes, vacations taken, first class tickets, expensive jewelry bought, and other expenses the net income may be only around $200,000 or so, which is still impressive.

That being said, most women who are pse's who charge $1500 or so probably don't make $200,000.

My guess is that it works like most industries do, where a small percentage of the income earners make the bulk of the money, so perhaps only 10% of all pse's make in that range of income or perhaps only 5%, and the others make approximately $100,000 or less.

And as someone else mentioned the numbers are arbitrary, and we don't have any solid data available, except for the occasional reports, such as when the article about Mark Yagalla came out years ago where it was mentioned that he spent 100's of thousands/year on a few playmates,

But that arrangement only lasted a year or so and afterward those women needed to find other wealthy people to be with, which is why even playmates that hang out at the PB mansion seek celebrities to marry because dating is too insecure a proposition and given that there are always new girls coming along they feel they have to secure their financial future.

High End Escorts can't keep putting out 24/7 because

their preformance will suffer, they'll lose clients (especially regulars), and then they are back to square one.

500/hour isn't high end.   I'd say 800 and above.   It's marketing.  300 puts most in the rang where almost any hobbyist will be interested.   It'retaining clients when one gets above 400/500 where it's dicey, because the guys can start to get 'hooked' and 'weird' at the same time - it can be a catch 22.  N

This is all conjecture, but consider:

Anyway, let's say a hot girl who charges 600.   At that rate you figure 6-8 meetings a week so she doesn't burn out, gets some good regulars, doesn't have 156 reviews making her 'common'.  So that's 4800 a week gross or about 250k a year.   There you go, she's not gonna pop for rooms if she's high-end.  the plus is she's probably got 3-4 sugar daddy's that she is almost exlusive with where she picks up 25-30k a week.  Not bad.  250k-300k a year, fairly low maintainance, nice perks, and if smart can keep her expenses (hair, etc., which most chicks have to pay for anyway) to 20k a year unless she just throws money away.   If she's good-looking, loves sex, not interested in marriage/kids, then she should be able to do 15 years of this clearing 200k a year (barring getting burned out).   Has a good accountant who hopefully isn't doing her is probably the toughest part of the gig.

Let's say a good 300 escort.  Ok, she has a room, and books 2-3 guys weekdays.   12 a week at 300, or 3600 a week for 180 k, not bad.   Doesn't really rush, but has to really manage time.  Expenses though are more, forking out for a room, so now she's at 30-40k a year.  So she clears 125-140k a year.   But she probably can deal with the cash easier than the high-end.  Can she keep that up for 15 years?   A smart girl will be able to put away some good cash, buy a home, buy and education, and be sitting pretty, maybe even able to work at Starbucks 24 hours a week for the rest of her life.

It's a tough business.
