If a guy posts a question about a girl's availablility and you know that she is available UTR, replying to the post with a "You've got a PM or Send my a PM" is pretty much letting everyone know that she IS available.  I don't think many would assume that you've sent the person a PM to tell him she's NOT available!

Back channeling is a great way to share information; but why would you announce on the board that you've sent someone a PM??? You know that when he logs in, if he has new private messages there's a "You have new messages" link at the top of the page.

Jesus, I just don't get some of your thought processes!

Sending a guy a PM if he ask if a certain girl does not mean she is available for escorting..I will say "You got a PM" and tell them no but if you like her why don't you see 'X'? And I want to tell other guys who send me a PM my experiences also and hear their experiences too..One girl in particular was asked if she provided about 3 months go and I know she is UTR..So I just just said 'You got a PM" and I told everybody who emailed me that I cannot give you her email address but go on this particular site and email her directly..Because if you call her directly she will immediately say 'No' but if you do what I did she may see you..

Or when I see a guy asking about a UTR..I will say "You have a PM" and I will tell everybody who emails me "Look if you want to see her than you have to see her girlfriend first because she trust her girlfriend over me"..

I always love it when guys hit me back and say to me "Yes and let me tell you who I just saw too"..

...  TER has it's own email notification system. So, why do people bother w/ this kind of a post?

Makes absolutely no sense to me.

I had been busy and had not gotten around to renewing my VIP membership for a couple of weeks.  Had I not gotten a post back indicating I had a PM waiting, I would never have known.

Some people here (hobbyists and providers) only know they have a PM if they see it on the boards. It's happened. On the flip side, if you're not a VIP you would never get the PM, or be notified via your regular email, so the posting is the only way they'd know someone responded.

Not getting a "New Email Message?" I guess this has never happened to me.

Not sure how this would happen except for a bug.

Still, to me, it's waste of bandwidth.

There was a posting the other day about someone VERY UTR.  Someone responded said PM me.  The implication being that that person was available whether or not that was true.
I have seen a number of UTR models over the past 5 yrs and have always protected their identity and the protect mine.  That is the deal, isn't it?

Because we all know that most women in the industry are available except for a small number.

My VIP membership had recently expired.  So, until the other person posted a "You've got PM" message under my post, I would have no way of knowing that he had a message waiting for me until I renewed my VIP membership.

That is one way that the You've Got PM message can come in handy.
