Who is planning on being there?  As of this moment, I am.  My perennial date will be there.  I am wondering which PS's and/or Hobbyists intend to go.  If there is interest, maybe a small soiree might be in order.

We should set-up a time for a little Soiree of TER members at the Circle Bar on Friday night sometime.

And of course all the girls would be invited too...

one of these times i do need to go just to say i went to an AVN...But i take a 10 day - 2 week trip each Dec. and I'm kinda set in my routine....Besides, I only see girls in LA as AIM testing is much easier to do there...

If anyone wants attend the Consumer Electronics Show too, it's easy and FREE for a while. Go to www.CESweb.org. Fill out registration. I just make up a company name and make myself CEO. You have to show ID & businnes card when you get there so print up a couple business cards. It is free til the end of Sept but after that admission goes up to $100-$200. Have fun and see you there!!

I will be at the "other show" for the novelty side of the business being planned for LA at that time. Much more fun and a much wider talent pool.

I'm planning on going since I'm going to CES too.  Becoming a ritual.

As far as hobbying, it depends if I'm going with someone or if it turns out to be a solo trip.  If it turns into a solo trip, I defintely could hobby and go to the Vegas Meet and Greet (assuming they have it again).

The fan hours for next Expo has been reduced a bit, which is a bummer.  You save a few bucks if you get your tickets before Oct. 15th though.

I never had a chance to meet Eddie in person, but he was always so kind and gracious to me in our exchange of PM's here.
I will not be attending this year. However, if you do raise a glass in his honor, please do so for me as well!

I suggested that on the first night of AEE we would meet at the Circle Bar at midnight and raise a toast to Eddie. Tasteful and simple way of honoring his vanguard hobbying leadership.

As it is, I'm not sure if I'm going. The economy is still sucking the life out of me. But who knows what will happen in the next few months.

Looking forward to show this year cause this might be my last. But, it would be cool to get together and honor Fast Eddie and meet/proposition! some of pornstars I haven't gotten a chance to see.

It all depends on my finances, plus I am taking a vacation the following month to parts unknown as of now for my Birthday.  The last 2 years have been a BLAST, so who knows what I will decide as the time comes closer.

I'm pretty sure that if you use the search feature for this forum you'll find some tips from Eddie on how to approach AVN (don't get the impression that it's 24/7 access to porn stars and nonstop sex parties all the time). It's a good time to make connections, but not always the best time to hook up for a date if they lady you are looking to spend time with is really busy with other aspects of her career (signing at the booths, making appearances, going to the awards dinner, and so on).

I'm honestly not quite sure what goes on there.  I always seem to be doing my own thing and waking up somewhere new each day.  I have only been to the AEE once and never to the awards show.  The parties are what it's all about and we have been to some great ones.

I have been to several of them.  I found going to the awards show to be a waste of time.  What is fun is watching all of the porn stars going to the show.  It gets pretty crazy.  The convention itself is fun to go to.  I have me some great ladies there.  As far as hooking up, I have had mixed luck.  I have always hooked up with at least one star while I am there, but I have also had a few back out at the last minute because they are very busy with other commitments.  I have found checking with Pam Peaks a couple of weeks ahead of time tells you who is available and Pam has never let me down on whomever I select showing up.  It has always been a great time for me.  The only negative is that the weather usually sucks.  I am probably going, but the economy has hit me too, so I may not.

Weather sucks? I don't think Vegas weather could ever suck unless you are a person who likes snow and freezing temperatures. Vegas I would say has great weather 99.9% of the time. Granted it's not 80-100 degrees in January, it's still warm compared to other states. That's why a lot of conventions are held out there, because the weather is always nice, sunny,and predictable. Not like Philadelphia or New York City during winter.
