I contacted my favorite porn star by email. It took some time but we finally agreed on meeting on a certain day. What I am a little bit uncomfortable with is that all our communication is by email. I asked her if she could give me a number to call her. She said no, but said I could always buy time from her website and she can call me.
I can understand why she might not want to give her number, but I also would prefer to talk with her on the phone before we meet. Since this is going to be my first PSE, I just wanted to ask if this is common practice?

There's really no such thing as common practice... if she's booking independently, her rules are her rules... Who are you talking about?  I may be able to give you better insight if I know which lady you're planning to meet.  if you don't feel comfortable mentioning her name on the boards, email me and I'll see what I can tell you.

I agree with Fasteddie on this one.  Many ladies will deal only through e-mail until the very end when they will give you their cell.  It's just smart business.  Both Keisha and Kathy Willets played it this way with me, and all went very fine.  PM me if you want any more help.

I've only hooked up with one provider and she happened to be a porno actress (Mia Domore) and things went silky smooth. So I'm a bit biased; but I'd simply advise that if you don't feel comfortable with the process that she's laid out, cancel your appointement with her.

If you're not quite ready to do that, look for reviews that either confirm or deny your suspicions. If you can't find any and you still want to give it one last pitch, offer to have her call you collect. If that doesn't work, move on to your next best choice. You'll hate yourself if you go through with things and she ends up taking advantage of you.
