Recently i've been watching more of this genre. Some of it seems to be staged, while other scenes imply a spontaneity that is possibly unrehearsed. Looking at scenes from Bang Bus, for example, most of the male participants are well hung and well groomed, and a little too fit to be the average American guy found just waiting at a bus stop. But then there are a few scenes from Fuck Team Five, where the guy really does seem to be unaware of what is about to happen, and has the time of his life. So, does anyone really know of any ordinary every day guy that has been picked up by a pornstar / pornstars? This is the realm of urban legend, but does it really ever happen?

I could be wrong, but I don't think you're allowed to release a video without a model consent.  Even on YouTube I've seen people with their faces grayed out.  The "fans" might really be fans, but there's no doubt in my mind that it's all rehearsed.

Even for less reputable porn sites, I don't think the girls would be good to go unless whoever they were shooting with had a recent STD/HIV test.

You might be able to release a video without model consent if the video is made and sold in Europe or some place where consent is not needed.

Of course if you do release such a film, you might get your ass sued, which is one thing that a model consent form protects you from.

I think some porn producers don't give a shit whether the lady sees the guy's medical test results. But getting a good shoot--that they care about. No way a porn producer is going to risk losing a day's shoot by picking up some "real" guy who might not be able to sprout wood, who might be belligerent and disruptive, who might be a danger to the crew, who might be LE, who might be . . . you name it.

At least for most of the series I have seen.  

Although Fuck Team Five may in fact be the exception and some of the older BangBros scenes (forget the series name) where they take a porn star like Nautica Thorn to an adult store to pick up guys and bring them back to a hotel.  From there the guys a usually wearing condoms for intercourse, but not much else.  No doubt the fuck a fan and similar series required tests and releases in advance.  (I've always wondered if there were any correlation between the starts who do fuck a fan shoots and stars who escort...)

Bear in mind that the model release do not necessarily need to be signed BEFORE the shoot.  They could do the shoot and tell the guy to sign to get paid.  They could also do a fairly quick off camera discussion with the "random guy" that might go like this:  

"Hi. This is Porn Star Nautica and she wants to fuck you. We want to put it on video and will pay you $400.  You just need to have fun and then sign a release."

How many of us would walk away from that?

Ed Powers used to pick some pretty hot girls at bus stops in order to make his series "Bus Stop Tales." Oh no! Those pick ups were staged in advance!?

How do you tell the fake news from the fake fake news?? Ahhh!

I think probably the closest thing to actual civilians were the girls who signed up for the "Do a scene with James Deen" a few years ago.  James was very transparent about all the preliminaries, even filming the girls signing the model releases.  I'm not a fan of his type of rough sex, but some of the girls were downright adorable:  Diana Colton, Luna Bast, Violet and Rose Chief to name a few.

Yeah the James Deen cross over into legit film sort of surprised me, considering the violence in many of his revenge porn shoots.  But that's Hollywood.
