Without naming and names I have ran across a porn star provider that I am considering booking a date with. I always use TER to its full potential and have been a member for 10+ years. When looking at a lot of high end porn star girls the reviews kind of throw up a red flag for me. One girl in particular but I kind of see a pattern when looking through a few different girls. It seems like in the last few months there has been several reviews posted all by guys who only have a few reviews. All these reviews seem very basic in the information that they give and no real emotion. They all kind of have the same feel when you read them. All of them are written by guys who have only reviewed high end porn stars and the 2-4 reviews are all written within a two month period. Almost like they wrote them only for a vip status. Just wondering if anybody else has noticed this?  

The only bright side is there really isn't anything negative said about the girl on the boards and she is represented by a respected booker. Not really concerned about a bait and with. It just kind of sucks feeling like you dont really know what to expect walking in spending that kind of money. What are your opinions on the situation?

I think a major issue is I have no problem rolling the dice for $300 but even then most of the time your not because a lot of the girls have a presence on the board and for the most part want to uphold a standard in the reviews. However a $1300 roll Is a much bigger gamble. For the most part because the high end girls have no presence on ter.

The market of the high end porn girls, girls that can command very high rates, is subject to a paradox: the higher the rates, the higher the expectations.

This paradox is reinforced by two features:
1) The clients who book high end porn girls do not depend on TER;
2) The high end porn girls do not need reviews to get booking.

Furthermore, for reasons that I do not need to mention here, the agencies who cater to the high roller clients have NO business to do with TER. Likewise, the high end porn girls are seeking agencies who can tap them into that 'pool' of high rollers, and their last concern is about getting reviews, since reviews are from them really a way to 'out' them. When they are 'out' their 'market value' goes down, since they are not anymore 'exclusive'.

In this context, reviews count as much as nothing, since as you correctly pointed out, lots of these reviews, even when involve a' high end porn girls' are written for reasons that have nothing to do with informing the reader and help him to make an informed decision.

Usually, relates with:  
a) getting 15 days VIP status;
b) being solicited by the agency who need a review to establish that particular girl in the market;
c) putting out just plain fake reviews - porn girls are an easy target for getting free days status, since no one really care.

As result, TER and the PS Board are becoming a 'death valley' as far as high end porn girls is concerned. There is no way to solve the paradox, since the collective actions of all agents involved are the outcome of self-interests.

What you say makes a lot of sense. I think a lot of porn stars are the target of fake reviews because of no presence on the board, which means no backlash. When a fake review is posted of an independent lady its usually not long before she is on the boards to address the issue. I would rather see a girl with no reviews then a girl with fake reviews. Then you have the problem of weeding through all the fake reviews to get to the legit reviews. I think I have been around long enough to tell the difference. Yet it still raises the question why was the fake posted. If it was simply for somebody to get a vip status that's one thing. If it however was an agency boosting the girls status I tend to frown upon that a little more.  

I am by no means a high roller which I guess is a downside when looking for girls. However all of the girls I have my eye on aren't UTR. Honestly I dont know that I would really have a desire to see a UTR girls unless it was one of the very few true bucket list girls. To me its nice to be able to connect on some level with the girl before the meeting. That being said its really nice and refreshing to see a Porn Star of some significance post on the boards and take pride in her profile. In this case that would more then likely be the girl that I want to see. Sadly it doesn't seem like you see much of that anymore. I regret not recently booking with Amy Brooke not sure if she post on TER but she does seem to have some great legit reviews. She also makes it a point to answer all of her fans emails and truly seems like she enjoys what she does.  

I have yet to book a porn star besides some girls that were with local agencies a several years ago. However I have been in contact with most of the agencies that you here on TER and have been by screened by them. For the most part everybody has been a pleasure to deal with and I am looking forward to doing business with them.

Indeed, as I have been arguing for long time (see the link to my old post about the Classification System) and I have been suggesting to them, the way to get around the problem is to become a "SEMI-UTR [= Escort under a name that resemble closely her ‘Career Name’].

This trick will allow for reviews, while preserving privacy and deniability.

When I talk about 'high end porn girls' who can command high rates, I refer to publicly available talent in one of the 3 forms I developed for my schema. I exclude from the 'high end porn girls' category the "100% UTR", which are the only one who do really do not 'want reviews and never will want reviews."

I can mention dozen of 'high end porn girls' who 'reviews' put them on the market, produced a significant profit and boosted their marketability well beyond the range of TER. As Eddie used to say, remember, the PS Board population is a very tiny segment of the one seeking porn stars.

Wow sounds like this place used to be a wealth of knowledge and a great time. I have been around TER for a little over 10 years. I got started in the hobby very young and am still a fairly young man. I feel like I have really missed out not spending more time on this board over the years. Maybe it was the misconception that I could never afford a porn star or who knows what. Maybe I am just now in the position where I feel like I can. So other then a few glances over hear now and then over the years I have been absent. After reading your post I am kicking my self in the ass. Looks like I missed out on a good time and a lot of knowledge. I would love to have this board back on track. With social media roaring I feel like we could bring more girls onto the board. How we go about it I don't know. But as I mentioned before a few of the stars I follow on twitter are very fan friendly and open about there escorting.
