As a lot of guys very often ask me the same exact question that you’re asking here in your thread ...
So I have an idea ...
And that is for guys who want to get into porn to simply become producers/talent on a website that I’m working on with a few of my girlfriends ...
And the premise is really simple ... in that you hire a girl like me to be in a scene with you (as I'm totally willing to work with new talent) ... and then we shoot the scene ... have a blast ... and, very importantly, you showcase your skills, image and talents for the whole world to see ... and since you’re the co-producer, you’ll then be making money as people download the scenes you’re in.
And then of course you can keep shooting with other girls ... and keep building up your resume ...
And the key, as far as this whole premise, is that guys like yourself can then just say the heck with having to play the whole who-you-know-bs-game out in LA ... and where you can just launch your own careers ... and in the meantime, enjoy fucking some of the hottest girls in porn!  
And just to give you a little extra incentive in getting your career going, I have included the picture below ... and the caption on the website is then going to read "hey guys, this could be you!"

So I just wanted to try help you guys by actually being an insider (pun intended who is actually on your side ...
And I would suggest that you guys just say the heck with the industry run-around as far as you guys being stuck in a situation of who you know and who you blow.
And from the overwhelming feedback that on getting regarding my idea/premise/upcoming site, I think we're definitely onto something that is a win-win-win situation!
And as far as your question, I probably won't be at AVN as I'd rather stick to The Exxxotica NJ convention in Nov as well as then the follow up Exxxotica NJ in Atlantic City in April.

I fell into it, saw a girl, she asked me shoot with her for her website (I'd had a few other offers already), and I just went with it.

I've only been doing stuff when asked, but I decided recently to sign with an agency & I also have shoots coming up for a producer who was looking for new talent. Still scratching my head how all this happened, and if anyone accuses me of doing porn at work, I'll say it isn't me LOL.

You need to be realistic: the dieting for a six pack is punishing, then there's the testing, and it's a lot harder to get it up in front of a film crew, luckily I'm always super horny. My first shoots were with just a camera man and a girl, which was a great intro.

From what I have been quoted it is anywhere between $300-$1,200 depending on the popularity and looks of the girl. I know this camera guy who has gotten me and my friends to do custom made videos with porn stars..

It is usually about 25-40 mins of video. Challenge though is not popping too fast or maintaining your hard on. lol
