I posted a thread about the porn star Dee last year and I just stumbled upon what she's been up to and where she's been.Dee retired from porn in 2007 as a director and performer with no interest in coming back.She lives near the coast in California and her only web presence is on the website Risque.com where they have a Deesclub section as her 'official' webpage.They have archival blog entries and pics going back over 10 yrs with some video including her stint as co-host of a KSEX radio show she did in the early 2000s and adult videos she was involved with.The website also features several other porn stars such as Inari Vachs but most of them are retired like Dee and Inari.Risque.com is also linked to a sister website called 247adultstars.com out of the UK.

Dee has no facebook or twitter and has a lapsed MySpace acct,with her only interactivity with anyone on the website msgboard and it isn't with regularity either.She does no cam shows or has current explicit photo spreads,just what's shown in the archival blog entries.You can't email her,you have to reach her via the msgboard and at best can be a disappointing experience if you want to find out about her based on my experiences.While the website isn't a total rip-off or falsely advertised one,it's safe to say it wasn't worth it for me to charge $20 on my credit card for a month long membership.

Now she did answer the first few questions I posted on the board--answering she isn't religious,thinks people don't enter the porn industry because of bad childhoods but motives ranging from money to sex,that abuse is everywhere including Hollywood where they hide their problems only to write a book about it later and make millions while the porn industry is easier to pick on due to stigma.She also enjoyed directing over performing and met a lot of great people in the industry.

Then I asked about Rob,her ex-husband and former manager who she entered the business with at 18 and I got the silent treatment from Dee all of the sudden.I apologized through private message and she seemingly accepted but it was all downhill anyway.She either didn't respond at all or if she did,it was curt,evasively non-responsive answers.So I just said the hell with it.I later contacted 'Lucky' who moderates the msgboard through email and he later explained to me that he advised her sometime ago to give broad,general answers due to an influx of PMs she was receiving and being overwhelmed by.Dee,in her last post to me before getting ahold of Lucky,said in CAPS she doesn't discuss her personal life ever.Even as innocous as wondering if she is going to school to pursue an education.

Disappointing as all that was and wishing I had rather not experienced what little she revealed to me in a rude way,at least she is surviving just fine but I guess we'll have to fill in the blanks as to what definition of 'fine' that is.

Just to add what I posted,according to them because I asked,they said she never escorted although I think that might be hard to believe on the surface.

Unless a retired pornstar has an official active website, an official twitter, facebook, or known to see fans privately....it is safe to assume for privacy reasons they do not want to be contacted.

Just to add further,maybe retired porn stars shouldn't be in the business of posting on a website's public msgboard interacting with people who PAID for the privilege to access and EXPECTING questions to be answered.No written rules for this newbie about what was inappropriate on the board at all,NONE.I had to find out as I went along which is rather silly.Keep in mind that all the questions were NON-SEXUAL in nature,NOT EXPLICIT in any way.The one question that supposedly got me in 'trouble' was my asking about her ex-husband Rob who was her manager at the time she entered the adult biz at 18.I asked if it was entirely her decision to enter the business,that's all.She stopped responding,I PMed her sensing I might of struck a nerve unintentionally and apologized.I even threw in the caveat if I ask anything too personal just let me know.She responded back accepting the apology and recommended I PM her instead of posting on the board.Good!Everything's right with the world again!I think....

I wasn't exactly elated at this point,more like confused.So just to see how this would go,I PMed her again with DIFFERENT questions this time like are you taking collge courses after you retired and was your family religiously devout or Catholic(coming from the south of the US,chances are you are Catholic in some way are pretty good)and how did that influence your decision to enter the biz.She PMed back not answering the college courses question and being non-responsive to my religious ones saying 'religion doesn't play a role in my life.My personal beliefs are very different.' Already sensing this wasn't going nowhere,I tried one more time,making the questions even more inoffensive and simple.I followed up in my next PM if she was an atheist or agnostic--no response!A couple days passed when she posted on the msgboard but ignored PMing me so I ended the nonsense.I PMed my dissatisfaction formally telling her she should of been honest in discontinuing instead of stringing me along for no apparent reason.Her last PM was that she didn't discuss her personal life (in CAPS).Now she tells me after all this time!Might of helped THE FIRST TIME when I brought it up in an apology.She also said she is busy...okay fine but you had time to post on the msgboard but couldn't spare a min to answer a couple of questions from my PM?Finally she sarcastically concludes:'have a nice day and it was nice talking to you'.Well,I had to say goodbye in my own way so I left her with this:'It was not nice talking to you and we know the feeling is mutual'.
