For all the guys dealing with this "deposit" bullshit, it's simple:  DON'T DO IT!!!  Or how about this:  Have sex with one of these "porn stars" and tell 'em you'll send them their money later!  See how well that goes over!! lol

As for the poor guy in the Rachel Starr escapade, hopefully he gets his money back. I still don't know who's telling the truth, or what happened in that mess, but's it none of my business, so....

....but Rachel and other high end providers can you please DUMP THE AGENCIES??  You really don't have any friends that can be your "go between" and screen/set-up your appointments for you?

With the 25% (at least) savings off your $1,500 rate, maybe you'd do more business (and keep OUR cost reasonable at the same time! and help a REAL friend make some extra money while doing a little computer leg work for you??

Perfect example is Sara Jay who uses a friend of hers to do all her pre-meeting biz.  She probably gets a little piece of tha action but Sara keeps her rates at $1,000/hr.  when you girls use these "agencies" I know why you need to go up to as much as $1,400-$1,800/hr.

These people are no better than a pimp when they charge rates like that.  Contro your life ladies and things like the Rachel Starr incident won't happen to you....or that guy who got taken.

It took me all last year of trail and error with all the agencies to find who was fair and who wasn't, who cared about my safety and who didn't, who has a great reputation and who was skimming by, and mostly who is organized!

I'm proud to say I have Pam Peaks as my agent and my REAL friend! she has been there for me thru thick and thin in my personal life and work related! Hell, if it was for her telling me about what was going on TER today, i probably wouldn't of known about it for a week or two, and by then my reputation could have been really damaged. Thank God she told me and i was able to get down to the bottom of it and also bring knowledge to everyone about how HORRIBLE real entertainment is!

The great thing about having as a agent (Pam Peaks) is she screens (which is awesome for my piece of mind especially after talking to Diamond Foxxx about what happened to her years back)! It also helps me stay really organized, she handles everything- all i have to do is show up and have fun! It is well worth the % i pay to her! and it's great for you guys too, because accidents do happen, plans change and she can get u someone new to see, she can answer all your questions and help you make a decision on which girl is best for you for what you are expecting! Different strokes for different folks.

And this was a FIRST when dealing with an appt..I had an appointment set with a lady..Pam asked for a $200 deposit..I did it because I have seen a few of her ladies and even recommended some ladies to work for her..Anyway the lady could not make it so Pam immediately gave my money back..

All that matters for you, is that you trust her.  I'm sure we all get it, and that's fine. Personally, I would never use an agency like Pams because I feel that their presence inflates their clients rates.  I'm sorry, but I don't feel like a woman that answers the phone, and then makes a few calls deserves $400 of my money.  YOU, the STAR, DO deserve my money, but not with that kind of "tax" included IMHO.

It is a little disturbing that you're telling the board that some shady guy has your TER password and basically can be you whenever he pleases!?  Can't imagine any good reason for that!?  Well hopefully you fixed that problem, and you can move on successfully in world of providing.

There are good arguments on both sides. Recently I passed on a non-TER lady (but met her later) to avoid the same type of markup problem.

But, I was also willing to give another provider a small deposit because I met her previously and she had great reviews.

If the provider doesn't feel safe then she won't provide (or provide less I would guess). But I agree though: a heavy markup can mean the difference between adding another hour or just going with someone else. Ideally, I'd rather give it all to the provider

I haven't sent a deposit in a while, & though i'd rather not, I don't have a problem sending a deposit of $300-400 or so...

But in last couple years (before sending a deposit), I've also made my intentions clear...I said I'm only booking the appt. if its non-condom (BBFS)...And of course i mentioned i'll have new AIM test, etc....A couple girls said no, but there were no lectures or preaching on their end or mine....We had a civil correspondence & decided it was best if we didn't meet...So, just like anything else in life, it is a give & take....

Also w/regards to deposits, I've had custom videos done (this was NOT a partcipation appt.) & on a couple of these appts., I've also sent a deposit (actually a larger one $1,000+) with no problems...But this was way more involved: talent, cameraman, editing fees, etc....

Like when the girl is traveling to see you.  I always minimized my exposure by booking tickets for her (she has to give her real name), booking hotel and taking out the trip cancellation insurance.

Other than that, sending actual funds is a deal breaker for me, been NCNS'd enough to know that the odds decrease exponentially when you do that.

On the flip side, if we knew how many hobbyists flaked out on these girls, we might better understand their position. Communication and a good reputation go a long way to give mutual piece of mind.

it is security for us to get a deposit. i can't tell you how many stories i have heard of a girl showing up and the guy not having any $ or part of it, and really just wanted to meet the girl face to face and talk to her for 10 minutes regardless of wasting her time! if a guy is will to put a couple hundred down in advance the chances of him wasting my time are slim to none...

first off i think your underestimating big time how much i really do keep and what kind of % Pam actually gets. and trust me she does way more than just answer the phone and make a few calls, but i don't expect you to understand. of course you only understand it from your side of the fence...

from my side of the fence, knowing all the work that goes into providing the service that agents provide, i wouldn't even bat an eye if she put more "tax" on it than the small amount she does already.

but that's the beauty of opinions, you have yours and i have mine, and there is no right or wrong, we can agree to disagree. So Cheers!

When we buy a product at a store we can always go back to the store if something is wrong. If they don't cooperate or give us 'satisfaction' we can sue. Remember Amazon for years couldn't get people to buy because of a lack of trust with the security of online transactions. Granted, credit card fraud is still high, but people are willing to buy online.

Both sides want peace of mind. A reasonable expectation of service and a reasonable expectation of payment.

Imagine you're a yoga teacher and 10 students say they'll show up so you pay for a room to cover 10 students. Then, only 2 show up. Now you've lost money. The flip side: when you sign a contract and pay for a cell phone find out the service sucks.

Again, there are good arguments on both sides. And I would bet in the case of the hobby, that once both sides know each other as reliable, a deposit may not be needed.

Ditto ... Pam returned a deposit within 24 hours of an appointment "no show."  She is very good to work with.

So given her past behavior sending her a deposit would be a mistake. As it would be with any agency or girl in the industry.

Try having sex with a provider, and then telling her you'll mail her in a check that week....promise!

It'll be the fastest "Fuck You" in history!! lol

And as for Rachel's feeling secure, no doubt that should be a top priority for you.  I'm just not sure how much more she can provide than another source.

$1700/hr is a little crazy for me, but I'm sure there's guys giving it to you.  There's also guys paying $1,500 for other girls on Pams site, that charge HALF that, when you call them direct!?
