Regarding James Deen, since his alleged abuse of Stoya?  

Do you admire him, and enjoy his work?  Or, do you no longer view his films (if, you ever did)?

While I ascribe  to the innocent until proven guilty thing I believe there has been enough collaboration from others to convince me that the guy is an A 1 four star creep. His recent legal problems  indicate his disregard for the law and well being of others.

As far as admiration or enjoying his work......uh , gotta say I love porn but have never watched it based on the male actor.
Hopefully  for their own safety my fave stars will avoid working with the douce and he will disappear into obscurity .

seems to have no applicability whatsoever in the court of public opinion. It is astonishing to me that in so many different scenarios, there is no critical analysis applied and an accusation becomes "truth" in the eyes of the public, or at least a substantial segment of it. Let's not ask ourselves whether there is any corroborative evidence, wonder if the accuser has any motivation to lie or exaggerate or hear at all from the accused.  

The fact is, the only one who knows what really happens are the participants and without a thorough examination of the totality of the circumstances, I take such things with a huge grain of salt. I do not know the man, nor any of his accusers so have no strong feelings on either side of the equation. If he did some of the things he has been accused of, he's a criminal. If the accusations are false, the accusers are. The difference there is that rarely, if ever, are those who false accuse someone ever punished, in any fashion.  

I also know that false accusations do occur, that complaining witnesses (if no one did anything wrong, there is no "victim") lie and have friends of theirs come in to swear to those lies. When such false accusations involve sexual misconduct, the accused finds themselves in the midst of a modern Poe story. A false allegation of sexual misconduct is, in a different way, as egregious as the alleged misconduct for two reasons. First, it can destroyed the accused life as they know it. Second, such things detract from the legitimate claims that are made by having that seed of doubt out there.  

Bottom line: I try to withhold judgment either way until I have enough solid information to make a decision. Since that is almost never going to happen unless one is intimately involved with the case one way or another, until I hear an admission or someone is found liable in court, either criminal or civil, I give them the benefit of the doubt.

His name came up during a conversation I had with a PS about 2 years ago. She had worked with him a couple weeks before. Her opinion of him and his 'professionalism' on set was not very high. I've broached the subject with other girls who have worked with him since then and have generally heard the same thing. Apparently, on set at least, he has a bit of a misogynistic attitude.

Before Stoya's allegations, I was getting really bored with the way he had sex during scenes. The constant muttering and dominating made him sound like a crazy person.

When it comes to watching porn, I don't really have a problem with the sight of a man's penis. Some guys get really skeeved by witnessing one of the things that makes porn so awesome to watch: a man penetrating a woman.  

My thing is, while I don't mind seeing all of a man's body, I do have a problem with guys who have sex like idiots. Marco Banderas comes to mind (Mr. "I love Fiona," if it spurs your memory). The silly grin and exaggerated expressions just take me right out of the scene. Same thing with Deen. The constant noise and the slapping and smacking are just distracting.

The good ones are guys like Peter North, who sadly is starting to look like Jack Lalanne, Erik Everhard, Rocco Siffredi, Manuel Ferrara, Steven St. Croix, and some of the younger men, like Tyler Nixon. They just look like they're enjoying it.

As for Stoya's allegations, I also think James Deen shouldn't be legally punished until convicted in a court of law. Which makes me happy I'm not part of the legal system, because I totally think he raped Stoya and sexually assaulted other women in the industry. I think what Stoya did was she resorted to another kind of justice, an extralegal kind. It may seem unfair to some men, but she was probably not going to get him sent to jail, so she just brought his actions into the public eye. To this day, he has not sued her libel (a twitter post is essentially the written word), slander, or any other defamation of character because he knows if he did, he would get exposed in the discovery phase of the suit. He pretty much has to pick up the pieces and move on.

So, I don't watch scenes with him in them anymore. Partly because of the allegations, partly because of the way he performed.
