Heard from a very good source (Stevie) that she has retired. I was told this the last time I saw Stevie. (About 2 1/2 weeks ago.) I was always looking forward to having a go with Bridgette too. Stevie said she was fantastic & even offered to perhaps set-up a "BigFella14 sandwich". One can only dream.
Bridgette says to tell everyone that she is following her dreams and hates the word "retire" because it sounds so final and it's usually never the case. So let's call it taking a break or rather a nice long vacation.
She also says that she will "pop" in on the boards from time to time to say "hi" and give her usual, unsolicited advice. LOL.
Miss Bridgette has left the building(insert theme music here).
It was only with her permission and collaboration that I posted this. I respect her privacy above all else and could care less whether you or anyone else knows her status unless she says it's okay.
Withholding availability information on a non-UTR?
That's not only egotistical of you, it's childish. It's not like you're guarding embarrassing personal info. A simple "Bridgette Monroe will not be available for the immediate future, guys" at the relevant time would have more than sufficed.
For someone who has no reviews, you complain about me not sharing information? What is it that you think I owe you? The answer is absolutely nothing. I posted what she requested, when she requested it. Nothing more.

He didn't say anything until Bridge told him it was cool....sounds to me like it's identical to a UTR situation, if she wanted it announced sooner she would have....soflaguy and Bridgette have both made a ton of positive and interesting posts on this board and his reputation needs no defense.....sofla, I hope you will pass on to Miss Monroe that her fun posts are missed and available or not her input is valued here as of course are yours
Considering what this board is meant for, it's also egotistical on your part. I stopped reviewing years ago (on other boards under another name), because reading reviews is both monotonous and BORRRRRRING escpecially if fifty other SOBs have already described a situation 90% similar to what I just went through. And if I had an experience not 90% similar what the other 50 SOBs had, TER won't allow it, anyway.
If you know someone has become available and not UTR, you should mention it here if nobody else has. If you know someone not UTR has become unavailable you should post it here if nobody else has. Keeping unnecessary secrets defeats the stated purpose of TER. Are you supposed to come here to find out which PSEs you can become buddies with or are you here to learn which PSEs you can become clients of?

I appreciate the kind words. Bridgette is truly one of the nicest people I have ever met and one of the great friendships I have made within this community. I know she appreciates the sentiment as well.
She did just that...took a break. There was no need to post it because she could decide next week to goto New York or elsewhere. So something so open ended is better to just leave alone. Traveling all the time becomes exhausting and sometimes you just need to stop and stay hunkered down at home :0) Your always in her heart and when she does do the "Big Retirement tour" she will let yall know ;-D

Whatever soflas contributions have been, withholding such information from a board where one is supposed to share such information is counterproductive. I've had two or occasions where I knew a pornstar was set to retire before anyone else on similar boards did and kept the secret until the time requested. In one case the PSE was semi-UTR, anyway, and publicly announced it within the month. In the other case, the PSE had already told her fiancee that she had retired but was finishing out her final round of scheduled appointments.
Now, if you go back and check my criteria, I said keeping the secrets of a UTR is fine. I also stated that guarding harmful personal information is also understandable. But keeping a secret just to keep a secret so that one can wallow in the smug satisfaction that is privy to information that most others do not have but would like to have is both egotistical and infantile.

It's rather useless to mention a PSE is available if she, HERSELF, is posting that information already. Moreover, announcing that you closed out someone's career is also not exactly relevant since such info doesn't help anyone else.

Anyway... It doesn't matter if the thread was about Bridgette Monroe or Asley Shye or Dru Berrymore or Memphis Monroe or any other PSE who regularly contributed to this board.
The principle is the same as long as the woman is one whose active status as a PSE is known to the board. If you know she is active and advertising it, you should share that info. If you know she is no longer active in the hobby, you should say it -- because it is relevant non-subjective information.
