Is it true that some talent is only exclusive to certain agencies or is this just a lie?

There are probably cases where it's true and cases where it's a lie.

There are a few here and there that are truly exclusive for various reasons - for example, if the lady is the girlfriend of the owner of the agency.  But, for the most part, I think if a woman is available, then the right amount of money, or the right client, or the right agent, or some combination of those things can make it possible to book "exclusive" talent through another agent.

There is one prominent agency which has received a multitude of complaints on this board, and that agency does have a somewhat exclusive lock on his talent.

He does this by not informing the talent of her schedule in advance. She has to stay at her hotel room near the phone because she never knows when work is coming. This prevents the talent from booking with another agent at the same time.

Why do they girls put up with this? He gets them the highest rates and the most appointments. Many of these appointments are based on some form of black mail; ie, "if you don't book with this girl coming to your town, you're never booking with any of the girls I rep."

Unfortunately most, if not all, of the top talent is with him or has been with him at some point. There are several girls I'm therefore unable to see because I don't want to see this guy profit a nickel off me, nor do I think the girls will be in high spirits based on the way he treats them.
