My post title did indeed have something to do with the body of the post. They both outlined the making of history vis-à-vis Vice Presidential and Presidential elections.
Your mind reading error comes in the following statement. . .
You state that I am “making cynical calculations that women will vote for her for being female”.
You assert that you know why I believe McCain will win. I never made any statement that even comes close to revealing my reason(s) for predicting that McCain will win. You then have the audacity to label YOUR unfounded reasoning as an example of MY cynicism, LOL.
As to your charge of racism. . .
First I never stated that I know how blacks SHOULD vote. I merely predicted that BHO would lose in spite of 95% black support and then went on to PREDICT that the first black POTUS would be a Republican without monolithic black support.
I do believe there are racist components to voters both black and white. As a percentage, the racism is greater on the Dem’s side. Of course leave it to you to label any discussion of race that doesn’t agree with you as being racist.
Ironically, most of the racist blacks will be helping to elect the first black and Republican POTUS.
Let me go further and predict that the first black person to become President will NOT be a Democrat. He/she will be someone who will struggle to get 50% to 60% of the black vote (not the 95% expected this year). He will be a black person who gets a majority of the total vote NOT because he’s black, but because he’s a Republican.

It's not the person's color, religion, race or sex that matters to conservatives. That's for liberals to make racist, sexist distinctions like that.
Actually, most conservatives can make two, or even three out of four.
You're also making cynical calculations that women will vote for her for being female, but it's wrong and somehow perverse that Obama draws 92 percent of the black vote. Or do you think women will vote for her due to her ideology is so mainstream, her political skills are first rate, her physical beauty so exemplary, and the fact that she's a woman is just coincidental to all of it.
Such imbalances shouldn't exist in the world, I agree. But since they do, each party will try to benefit the most from then. The most skillful, or cynical party does it while keeping its members in denial.
My main response to McCain appointing her: he has miscalculated this terribly.
Yes Lord Reagan prophesied. Yes the true messiah, Lord Reagan, foretold that the first woman VP of the United States would be---Republican.
Barack (AKA Barry) Hussein Obama is a false messiah. He's just an empty suit from corrupt Chicago. And he's a radical lefty empty suit from corrupt Chicago.
Who do you think McCain should have picked?
Sarah Palin....The best pick he could have made IMO whether he wins or loses..He wouldn't get many Evangehellicos with Guliani or Romney.. I certainly was not excited about Mccain and I am still not but when I heard the news Sarah is the VEEP I said Right On Right On and then Rush immediately copied me..
For those of you that despise the Evangehellicos don't forget you have the most disgusting Michael Moore and others like him on your side...The guy with no absolutely no compassion for Human Beings in New Orleans ..
Who else would the evangelicals vote for? Obama? This would be playing to a group who is going to vote foe him anyway.
She was picked because she has a pussy! McCain is hopping to turn some of people who supported Hillary because she was a woman with a chance to become President. Not the die hard feminist, but those who are not tied to a political ideology and want to see a woman win.
If Hillary had been the nominee, J.Mc. would have found someone of color like Bobby Jindel for VP.
...I know. Mike Huckabee or Mitt Romney. Huckabee would nail the religious vote, Romney is moderate and competent, and actually doesn't scare me if he has to take charge. If a woman VP is required, he might have chosen Condi Rice, but that would connect him directly to the Bush administration, Thus undermining that conservative "change" that we hear so much about.
His reaching so far to get a woman running mate practically underscores a rarity of Republican female candidates for national office. I could almost picture Rove saying to McCain: "she's head and shoulders above the rest."
Rove might have been right. So far, she has only told one major, gratuitous lie over the "bridge to nowhere."

It was actually my biggest fear. I thought he would be the more polarizing pick to people on the left.
I do have to agree about the dearth of Republican women on the national front. I still think it was an excellent political pick, I think it will help him win the White House, but in all honesty I don't think I ever want a complete jesus freak ever actually being in charge of things.
As much as Palin has renewed my interest in this election I do have to admit that 2008 is the year of identity politics running amok. If I was an adviser for either of these tickets I would recommend having a Latino sitting next to me and go straight down the line from there until every race/gender group is represented.

My opening statement is mostly irrelevant to my main point about the first black President. Palin will become the first female VP due to McCain winning. I’m making no calculations about women at all in this post although I do believe that a few Dem women will indeed vote for McCain because of Palin, but that says something about them not me.
My ENTIRE point was to make note that most of the 95% of blacks voting for BHO are themselves racists, but it won’t be enough for NHO to win. So when the first black POTUS takes office INSPITE of the black population, and BECAUSE of the Republicans, who will be shown to be the racists?

Wasn't there something about that in Composition 101?
Even so, I treated that subject in my post.
I don't think I'm "reading your mind" wrong, I think you just don't know what you're saying.
Now, I'll get on your "real" subject: your post itself is benignly racist. How is it that you know better how black voters should vote? Also, there's some resentment on your part. Republican draw on the Black vote is nearly zero, so you say it is racist. This follows from the "fact" that Obama's an empty suit, as anyone not blinded by racism could see.
On the other hand, if Obama is getting the entire black vote and all other things were equal, he should be ahead by 12 percent unless there were a racial bias among whites. But that's normal.

McCain still only appeals to older white males. Obama is polling better with most minority groups, women (despite his pick for VP, and people younger than 30.
McCain will go down in the history books with Alf Landon and Tom Dewey as people who tried to become President.
Palin will be nothing but a footnote.

OBama did not remember
You may be eating crow and I would not underestimate Palin
