The Jared storyline has existed since Trump was inaugurated, and only have traction with those that are already anti-Trump. The $5M to $25M increased valuation will be spun as evidence of the success of the investment zone program.

The Hunter/Burisma issue, gets attention in the National/cable press, and will continue to do so as the Republicans ramp up their attacks.

David Ignatius, (Twitter @IgnatiusPost) writing in today’s WaPo op-ed pages, summed it up in a piece titled “A scab that Biden needs to tear off”.  As long as he doesn’t do that, it’s going to be an issue that drags him down.

I'm not one to take RawStory seriously but this caught my eye.
Once Bloomberg got out of the race I was hoping that his team would go attack dog on the trump family. This will make Hunter poultry 83K a month look like chicken feed. The corruption that reaks of this family. The commercials will dominate the air waves.
But in reality, trump has to do it, he can't sell anything,  he has nothing for his idiot base to rally around. They need some chant.

You cite emails and Benghazi, yet Hillary supporters are still pissed at the New York Times for covering the email story. The point is the email and Benghazi stories DID hurt Clinton, and the Burisma story did too.

A post below notes it’s going to be a media slugfest on both sides. The best communicator will win. And if it’s Biden versus Trump, the best communicator is Donald Trump.

but the fact remains the emails garnered a lot of media attention, and that impacted her standing with the electorate.

Media is going to cover any Biden inquiries as well.  Even if it’s couched in CNN/MSNBC slant of “how audacious of Trump to -fill in the blank-“, it will be in a wash, rinse, repeat news cycle.
