But I can't find the thread that contained that poll now. It was probably censored. I wasn't running to be the sexist man on this board, but a write-in campaign put me at the top.

But I did find out why cons are so full of shit. They need our inner essence to stay healthy. So please give. I hope this link to the latest news finds you in good health, cons:

Summary of laffy’s logic in these two threads.

Laffy finally found someone that he thought came up with reasons why Obama deserves reelection, an editorial from the Salt Lake City Tribune. The editorial started out (and spends most of its time) bashing Romney before it finally finished by looking at Obama using the same lame logic that was entirely backwards looking.

A summary of the endorsement is:

Don’t vote for Romney because he’s leaned too far right in the past and he lacks detail in his proposals for the future.

Vote for Obama because of all the great things he’s done in the last four years and for his great leadership in his first term. They do not mention anything regarding any of Obama’s plans for the future. Of course we all know that none exist in public form.

********

Laffy starts out in an untypical calm form, asserting that since the Salt Lake City Tribune is in a Red State with a large Mormon population, this endorsement is a huge rebuke of Romney by his own people. Of course he fails to mention that the SLC Tribune also endorsed Obama over McCain in 2008.

After waiting an entire 2-1/2 hours he then chides the board for not responding, reminding everyone the SLC Tribune is a Rightwing Mormon newspaper. Which of course the SLC Tribune is not, far from it, The SLC has not been a local “Morman” paper for more than a decade. Several years ago the originally family owned paper was taken over by a Denver based MediaNews Group. For the past several years the SLC Tribune has been owned and operated by a left leaning group controlled by MediaNews, Hearst Publishing and Alden Global Capital.

After a mere two more hours, he declares victory and resorts to his normal vitriol claiming we are all at a Ku Klux Klan meeting.

Three and half hours later, still disappointed that no one has taken his bait that the SLC Tribune’s endorsement, laffy tries to convince willy of what he believes is a huge coup.  Of course laffy is still failing to mention (or even know is more like it) the truth behind the editorial,

Today, laffy is so disappointed no one took his bait he is compelled to whine some more regarding his prime directive (exposing Republicans). Of course at this point he can’t help but revert to the usual name calling and attempts at degrading.

What laffy does not realize is that no one engaged him for mainly one reason. He’s Laffy.

Laffy, no one talked to you because THEY DO NOT LIKE YOU AND DO NOT TRUST YOU. Of course you won’t acknowledge any of your (or the kosian’s) errors in attempting to disguise this left wing endorsement as something different.

Now I know,  you are being condescending,  right?  :-),   even though,  we all know how  "far left",you are,  and you know what,  Jeff,  its OK,  you can  "explain your opinion", what a wonderful thing that is,   but the venom spewed out of Laffy's mouth/keyboard (just because someone has a different opinion) is reprehensible,  and I for one am glad that  "the house"  has stopped responding to him.

You do have a bright burning candle  :-)

Laffy drops original post theme (by choosing not to defend it) that rightwing Mormons at the SLC Tribune back Obama. When confronted with evidence that HIS new and great source did not itemize even one Obama plan for the future he then turns his attention to me. Even though I was never the originator of anything here he focuses on ME for lying when I'm simply pointing out the flaws of his source for making the same claims that I am supposedly lying about.

It is just plain lying which all of you seem to very fond off and live to do so every chance you get. Stop lying and don’t claim lies are a different opinion.

Mitty lies way too much even for a politician.

His plans are like clouds in the sky, like the clouds, the shape will change.

He can only talk to idiots who cannot think for themselves.

He was a moderate before an extreme conservative before an extreme moderate before an extreme conservative.

Who is Mitty? A SHAPE SHIFTER!

Seems your best answer is, "He's not Romney."

How could a conservative paper survive. Oh wait. What about the New York Post?

It's diverse but conservatives are a definite minority.

Utah
Obama   = 34%
McCain  = 63%

Utah 2nd Congressional District (Salt Lake City)
Democrat   = 63%
Republican = 35%

New York
Obama   = 63%
McCain  = 36%

Average for NY City’s 10 Congressional districts (#7 - #19)
Democrat   = 86%
Republican = 14%

There are actually MORE Democrats in the THREE Utah Congressional districts than Republicans in ALL TEN districts that make up NYC (293,000 Reps in Utah vs. 221,000 Dems in NYC)

Hmm. I’m not seeing all that extra diversity in NYC over Utah. Actually quite the opposite.

Having failed to even attempt to defend his original position, laffy demonstrates his BIGOTRY by showing he thinks nearly everyone living in red Utah must be a conservative. When reminded that there are conservatives living in New York City (enough to support a newspaper), his logic is “well of course there are because NYC is much more diverse than Utah”.

At this point we know that he knows he’s nearly at the end because now the name calling begins.

But to answer, actually the 2 numbers are nearly identical.

You obviously didn't read my post below showing 2008 election voting data.

It's an opinion piece, plain and simple.

A large majority of papers are liberal, so who should be surprised about this?

I lay you bottom dollar Romney carries his home state, which is something Al Gore was not able to do...

Let the PEOPLE of his home state do the talking, not some journalistic rag.
