A) Well now - "THAT" happened.
B) Why aren't Obama, Clinton OR the POTUS-elect calling on their followers to chill out? We are seeing a complete breakdown and repudiation of the electoral system in its entirety by the post-election behavior from all sides.
Hillary's concession speech was surprisingly sanguine and conciliatory, but she followed it up by pointing the finger at Comey. I could have accepted Wikileaks, but Comey, really? Good luck with that, Sherman.
Meanwhile, violence by her "constituency" against pro-Trump individuals has risen by leaps and bounds, viral videos of black on white violence are being cheered and "liked" on Facebook, which seems all of a sudden to have abandoned their own protocols and principles concerning "hate-content".
Why hasn't Hillary said or done anything to calm her angry followers in the interest of moving forward?
Obama spoke eloquently and in a conciliatory manner during his press conference with POTUS-elect Trump and yet he too has been silent over this violent aftermath. Obama spoke passionately and forcefully during the campaign. Surely some words of hope and change from the President to his constituency could bring about some calm in this unique time in America's history.
Trump himself could affect a positive influence over the activities of HIS constituents as well, if only he would choose to say something constructive and Presidential. Good luck with that, Sherman.

C) Doctor Gonzo is a Jew and has a Jewish perspective. Imagine that.
As a Jew with an existential connection to the Holocaust, there was no way I could ever support Trump. Too much support from high profile anti-Semitic organizations and individuals despite his Jewish connections including via family. Too many Jew-hating tropes lifted almost verbatim from the disgraced and debunked Protocols, and yes, I did see the video clip of that asshat screaming Jew-S-A with his hand forming a gang symbol associated with White Power. Despite what a certain human pap smear insists, I've never supported Trump, and have never voted for a Republican, unless you include the LA Mayors campaign in 1993. I voted for Richard Riordan over Mike Woo. And I would again. I felt Woo accomplished nothing as a Hollywood City Councilman.
As a Zionist with an ancestral connection to Israel (confirmed by AncestryDNA in fact), I could no longer associate myself with, nor could I support an American political party that featured dozens of "Palestinian" flags on the floor of the Democratic National Convention, encourage and support (via tens of millions of dollars from George Soros) false front organizations featuring SJP (Students for Justice in "Palestine") and especially BDS (Boycott Divestment Sanction). Israeli flags were burned by members of these same hate-filled propaganda tools of Palestinian Pablum and the Soros Agenda while Hillary spoke inside to her loyal followers, and despite Hillary's open and unambiguous repudiation of BDS. But these are her supporters and welcomed members of the Democratic Party. It did not and does not sit well with me.
I am sadly reminded of the classic satire of Tom Lehrer:
Oh the Catholics, hate the Protestants,
And the Protestants hate the Catholics.
The Hindus hate the Muslims,
And Everybody Hates The Jews.
Earlier this week on November 9-10 marked the anniversary of “Kristallnacht”. On those dates in 1938, Nazis in Germany torched synagogues, vandalized Jewish homes, schools and businesses and killed close to 100 Jews. It was to many people, the vital first step of Hitler's Final Solution. And if you think the eerie parallels to that horrible night and "The Day After" unfolding events of this years election are nothing to look at and shrug off as just Jewish paranoia, think again, and refresh your memory of Martin Niemöller.
I do not expect Trump to follow through on his promise to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem. Whether because of the facts of realpolitik, or strident objection and filibuster by pro-"Palestinians" in Congress and J Street, I don't expect it to happen. That's simply a nod to reality whether I like it or not.

Random thoughts:
Why are folks going apoplectic over Trump walking back some of his most incendiary statements? Why is this a bad thing? The human pap smear among others, has been SCREAMING and RANTING how Trump is changing his tone now that he's the POTUS-elect. Seems to me that that should be a sign Trump is finally getting the idea of what politics at the highest level is really about. So there are thousands (4000+) of political appointments that must be made, and I am not surprised some of those are going to go to insiders and lobbyists. Has it ever occurred to the Planet Stupid types that maybe, just maybe, there are people who regardless of their ties to Beltway Bullshit, are crucial to an orderly transition. Or have people simply gone over the edge and overdosed on the Kool-Aid mantra of "in order to save the country we have to destroy it." What's to be gained? We as a nation are injured and we must heal.
This election has brought out the very worst in Americans across the board. Anyone with a genuine concern for the well being of our country should be focusing more healing the rift instead of rending it completely asunder. Starting with the spoiled brats in Silicon Valley, "moving on" to the residents of Planet Stupid all the way to the effete snobs and pseudo-intellectuals across the Eastern Seaboard.
Haven't we all had enough hate?
