She got us national attention with SB1070 and now with this debate she did....OMG they have even made a You Tube video already making fun of her.
We are all NOT like her. Please know that. She ONLY got the job because Janet Napolitano resigned and took the job at Homeland Security. Brewer was our Secretary of State - we did NOT elect her Governor

LoL. Her bill had the support of most Az residents and the country in general. What's idiotic is continuing to put up with putting the rights. (Whatever) above those of actual citizens. The bill she crafted is identical to federal law. Maybe you like supporting illegals in our prisons, on our welfare system and the general lawlessness (drug wars among cartels and kidnappings). Our Governor bless her little heart was a reluctant signer of SB1070. She signed because she was afraid of the voter backlash. It not like her or McCain really pushed the bill. They just jumped on after it was rolling along. You see the old governor and I suspect even our esteemed Congressman and Senators of the great state of Arizona are playing a political game. That's what they do for a living.
I don't think it's any secrete Sherriff Joe would like to be Governor. The old right wingers would probably sign up for that. Now if the Governor wanted to, she could amend SB1070 to get around the Federal objection and resubmit it. Why hasn't she? Well you see the U.S. AG is going after Sherriff Joe. So she will let him swing in the breeze thereby eliminating him for serious completion. The Gov can say I tried Arizona but the big bad Federal government won't let me. McCain can go for the status quo and our little state can keep rolling along.
