so that happened at that school. It was bad and it was evil. We all can agree on that.

Now they're going to tear down the school to build another one in the same place.
As school buildings go they stay in place for a long time.  

In these times of cuts and poverty why not let the building alone and buy books and stuff?

I agree with school funding being cut, this seems to be a huge expense, but this is a expense, I can understand for many reasons...  

This was a small town, everyone knew everyone, many parents had a huge history with that school. If I was a parent, I would not want my child to see their school and have flashback nightmares.  

I think they just want to some how have a new school so that the town can TRY to have closure and move on and learn to be happy again
