Le Pen's National Rally increased their seats by 53 more than in 2022.  No party has a majority now.  It's going to be chaos for a while.  National Rally got 37% of the vote but only 24% of the seats.
.
In the UK, Labour got only 34% of the vote but got 64% of the seats.
.
Allocation of seats is not proportional to the popular vote.  And in both UK and France, the Reform and National Rally parties have picked up seats to new highs compared to the previous elections.

You can slice and dice data as much but it can’t and you can’t manipulate facts to bury the facts.
Answer this two questions:
1. Which parties- left or right - in power after the election?
2. What was the overwhelming predictions before the election- in both countries?

Don’t try to confuse the results with parliamentary arithmetics / that are different in every parliamentary country! Coalition formation is mostly a norm in all those countries. The point is who won the power (left) and who the poll predicted will win overwhelmingly (ultra conservatives).

So you admit that the right got more popular vote than a proportional share of seats.  Labour getting 2/3rds the seats with 1/3rd the popular vote is A-Ok with you.

And that you hate our electoral system because it's rigged?
Hypocrite.

You were the ones outraged by it. Now you're ok with it. You're the hypocrite.

By your own admission you "assumed" my position to accuse me of being a hypocrite.
.
Interestingly when Trump won in 2016 the disparity of the popular vote was just 2%.  Compare that with labour getting 2/3rd the seats with only 1/3rd the popular vote. And in the USA the House of Representatives are fairly representative of the popular vote. Likewise the Senate is also representative on the granularity of the states.

The European results are a far cry from "democracy ."
