There was one scheduled in my town..... that never happened.   The "number" of actual protesters is all across the board.   One outlet says 8 million another says 1 million and anywhere in-between.   Then you have MSNBC getting caught in a lie showing old stock footage from 2017....which was stupid.  Makes people not trust the news even more.  When most independent journalists showed most events in larger cities had big turnouts.   No need to lie or make things up.  

 
But by in large they were "mostly" peaceful.... until after dark.  But those were the aftermath at the typical ICE facilities.  Where the "over flow" went.

8.  The threat on universities and funding..... this one is the one I am on the fence about.  One the Harvard admissions was RACIST and glad it went to the Supreme Courts.   The idea of making the use of funding accountable is a good thing.  Many "boards" are getting "rich" off of these grants.  What I mean is that board members are getting inflated salaries....ie: Large % of the grant money.  Trump was trying to make them accountable.  But with the blanket "admin" cost/percentage base definition was too broad.   It was unattainable....with rents, HR costs, management costs, etc all in "admin".   But his idea or thinking is good and just needs to be tweaked.
