I don't have a link because I heard it on the radio while driving. I listen a lot to KNX news, which is the local CBS affiliate, so that I get the Leftie take on what's going on in politics. When they say the numbers were disappointing, it's more likely a disaster.

There was one scheduled in my town..... that never happened. The "number" of actual protesters is all across the board. One outlet says 8 million another says 1 million and anywhere in-between. Then you have MSNBC getting caught in a lie showing old stock footage from 2017....which was stupid. Makes people not trust the news even more. When most independent journalists showed most events in larger cities had big turnouts. No need to lie or make things up.
But by in large they were "mostly" peaceful.... until after dark. But those were the aftermath at the typical ICE facilities. Where the "over flow" went.
Which was a good thing. There was some people who got arrested and one idiot woman who got arrested for waving a gun around who was MAGA... can't remember the city it happened. But good for them taking that whacko down. No need for that.

A king during a government shutdown would just order a "decree" and keep things going.

But with the blanket "admin" cost/percentage base definition was too broad. It was unattainable....with rents, HR costs, management costs, etc all in "admin". But his idea or thinking is good and just needs to be tweaked.
9. Freedom of press..... WTF..... you mean giving more opportunity to independent journalists to come to the Whitehouse? To curb the showboating going on during press conferences. 10. The federal courts are overreaching in some circumstances. It has been proven with the overturning of things.
