Someone sees the handwriting on the wall. This is seriously a really great article to read at the end of a tense day. Rick Scott says his goal is to restore Florida's voters confidence in the system and reduce long waiting lines! Absolutely amazing that he can say this with a straight face.

I wonder if the Republican party understands how bad voter suppression is for them on every level. First of all, it is unethical and illegal, you create a group of voters who will NEVER vote for your party again because of your attempted suppression, you create another bloc of voters who also will never vote for your party again because of outrage over the tactic. The catering to the fringe elements of the right wing, who will do and say anything to get elected or seize power, even if it means subverting the law, thrown in with the rest of the toxic stew the party brings to bear, will destroy them from the inside out.

Having worked for a corporation he headed, and knowing what a truly scary person he is, I would truly astonished that the citizens of Florida elected him as governor.
