A quasi governmental social service agency should be established to fund all the entitlement programs.  The agency would be funded with contributions by the liberals who believe in entitlements such as socialized medicine.  People like Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein, who are all extremely wealthy, The Clintons, etc. would finance the agency.  This would be an ideal way to redistribute the wealth because the people paying the bill would get such a wonderful feeling of satisfaction knowing their vast wealth would be going to the less fortunate. At the same time those who don’t believe in a socialized utopia would not balk at paying taxes knowing their taxes are going to support the military, and other essential government services.  This should end the riff that has occurred between Democrats and Republicans and Liberals and Conservatives and put to rest all this bickering about socialism.  In other words this would be a way for liberals to put their money where their mouth is.  How can any liberal disagree with this system unless they are a hypocrite?

The people you mentioned and their kind, e.g., Ketchup King Kerry, Fat Bastard Ted Kennedy, George Soreass, Michael Blunderbust Bloomberg, Al "The Inventor" Gore, etc., etc. do more than their part by providing their moral superiority, their self proclaimed purity, their guidance, if you will, to the peons, they should not be expected to pay money too. You have asked too much Jack. Get you nose back on the grindstone.

Simple, their position would be that EVERYBODY has to contribute to society, and the more you can afford to contribute, then the more you SHOULD HAVE TO. You don't get to pick and choose which taxes to pay anymore than you get to pick and choose which other laws you want to obey. The time to pick and choose is on election day, and after that, you're stuck with whatever the plurality has chosen.

I'm no liberal, and am disgusted by each person you named above (and the positions they support), but your "logic" here is deeply flawed. Nice rant, but next time try some substance.

I don't agree with their positions, but it would be easy for them to defend it without being hypocritical.

You know how to read and write.   Even if you're high as a kite, that's only the 1st requirement - you also have to be ill-fucking-iterate to be a True Conservative.

It is possible to be an intellect and yet still be conservative. In fact, a true conservative comes from a sharpening of the mind.  

However, what you see on these boards are those who try to pass themselves off as "conservatives" are nothing more than a bunch of willy-wankers who are ill-advised, ill-informed and uneducated.
