While Trump was fawning over Putin on the red carpet last Friday, there was a flyover by a B-2 stealth bomber and four F-35s. Trump looked up and clapped.

But three months ago Trump was trashing the B-2 and the F-35. He criticized the F-35 because it only has one engine. Trump said: “An F-35 has a single engine; I don’t like single engines…If an engine goes out it’s nice to have two. three or four. That’s why I like the 747, it’s got four.”
LOL! Trump thinks a fighter should look like a 747! Frank Kendall, secretary of the Air Force under Biden said: “The bulk of our fighter fleet is single-engine aircraft, and has been for forever.”
Also, it would be virtually impossible to modify the F-35 with a pair of engines. Aviation expert Richard Aboulafia said you’d have to rip apart the entire middle of the F-35 and replace it with a completely different middle.
Even more ludicrous is Trump‘s opinion of the B2 stealth bomber. He said:
“I’m not a huge believer in stealth, because stealth is basically, a lot of it’s the design and the shape. … you’re going to design an ugly plane for stealth reasons. And then six months later, they are going to figure out this, and then you’re stuck with a plane.”
ROFLMAO! Trump would rather lose a war with a pretty plane, then win a war with an ugly plane that has stealth capabilities.
