While Trump was fawning over Putin on the red carpet last Friday, there was a flyover by a B-2 stealth bomber and four F-35s.  Trump looked up and clapped.

But three months ago Trump was trashing the B-2 and the F-35.  He criticized the F-35 because it only has one engine.  Trump said: “An F-35 has a single engine; I don’t like single engines…If an engine goes out it’s nice to have two. three or four. That’s why I like the 747, it’s got four.”

 
LOL!  Trump thinks a fighter should look like a 747!  Frank Kendall, secretary of the Air Force under Biden said: “The bulk of our fighter fleet is single-engine aircraft, and has been for forever.”

 
Also, it would be virtually impossible to modify the F-35 with a pair of engines. Aviation expert Richard Aboulafia said you’d have to rip apart the entire middle  of the F-35 and replace it with a completely different middle.

 
Even more ludicrous is Trump‘s opinion of the B2 stealth bomber.  He said:
“I’m not a huge believer in stealth, because stealth is basically, a lot of it’s the design and the shape. … you’re going to design an ugly plane for stealth reasons. And then six months later, they are going to figure out this, and then you’re stuck with a plane.”

 
ROFLMAO!  Trump would rather lose a war with a pretty plane, then win a war with an ugly plane that has stealth capabilities.

The B2 and the F35 were key parts in Trump's own Iran bombing mission. And their stealth qualities were a big reason why the mission succeeded with no losses.
Adding an engine to the F35 would destroy its stealth qualities. And we already HAVE a twin-engined stealth fighter. It's called the F22 Raptor and also went on the Iran mission. So did single-engined, non-stealth F16s and twin-engined, non-stealth F15s.

The f35 IS a stealth fighter/bomber.

No one --certainly not me -- EVER said "stealth" meant an aircraft was undetectable by radar. Stealth simply means the radar cross section of a plane is about the size of a bird and it can't be effectively targeted. That does NOT mean the F35 isn't a stealth aircraft. It IS.
But now Wanker is trying to pull a bait and switch, moving the goalposts by suggesting that since the F35 can be detected by radar -- albeit though it can't be effectively targeted -- the fact that it IS a stealth aircraft no longer matters.
Wanker is a disingenuous fool and, yes, liar. Just not a very effective one.

Just because to Wanker's alleged "mind" stealth means something is "blind to radar" doesn't mean that's the actual definition in the real world. THIS is what it actually means:
"Stealth aircraft are military airplanes designed to be difficult to detect by radar and other sensors. They achieve this through a combination of shaping the aircraft to deflect radar waves, using radar-absorbent materials, and reducing emissions in other spectrums like infrared and acoustic. And if the F35 isn't stealth then how come both the US Air Force AND its builder described it as a stealth aircraft?
