Sixty five  women Kavanaugh knew in high school have testified he always treated women with respect.

While I don't doubt that she was, in fact, sexually assaulted in high school, I think it's very difficult for her to prove that it was Kavanaugh and his buddy who were the assaulters.  Unless she had contact with him routinely since high school, I can't imagine she could have picked him out of a crowd today.  I'm a bit older than both of them.  When I go to a HS reunion, I need to look at nametags to determine who the person is.  She went to an all-girls HS and he went to an all-boys HS, so they didn't see each other every day for four years.  

Oh hell yeah he did it.Both were 17 yo knuckleheads. And how old was the girl? 15?? See what going to an all boys school will do to you.
I hope he can look at his girls and hope they don't run into a asshole like their dad.
And the girl being 15 yo, she may not remember how she got there or who's house it was (really that's a dumb ass comment) but she'll remember something that traumatic. I've been to dozen of parties/get together while in HS and I don't remember a whole lot...except when as a 16yo junior I got a BJ from a 17yo senior cheerleader in a car. I don't know who's car it was, although I think it was Hectors. I don't recall how I got there. Who's house it was...but I do remember blowing my wad on her face...lol

Not for "doing the right thing" or having even the slightest bit of compassion for Kavanaugh's accuser, only an idiot would believe this whole thing is not politically motivated. That said, I have to give her credit for throwing what is looking more and more like a very effective Hail Mary pass as time was winding down on the clock. It wasn't long ago that the chances of the Dems being able to stop Kavanaugh's confirmation where just about zero. It's still rather likely that he is confirmed, but regardless of what happens over the next few days there will always be a taint to his name and even more important this issue is going to hurt the Reps in November.

I actually agree with you.  What this is about is control of the Supreme Court for decades. It's simply a political/ideological battle for the soul of America. If the Dems can string it out and keep Kavanaugh from being confirmed until after the election, if the Dems prevail in the House and Senate it's game over for Trump, the Repubs and K.  In raw political terms that's what it's all about.

Not to mention the fact that Feinstein, Ford's lawyer, and most likely Ford herself are making a mockery of what "real" victims of sexual battery have to go through, don't you?

But you have conveniently ignored the fact that Republicans have played even bigger games in the past, like their blatant blocking of Garland when there were nearly 300 days left in Obama's term.  So any games played by Democrats are fine with me.  As someone once said, this ain't beanbag.

No one "Lives his or her life in accordance" with the Supreme Court?  Well, actually, all of us do.  Every ruling the court makes affects millions of people, depending on the case.  And not only if you want an abortion.  The court in recent years has ruled on gun rights, the rights of corporations to pay for political ads, the rights of union workers, and on and on.  In 2000, the court basically elected George W. Bush. If you can't connect the dots, it's hardly a surprise.  We should elect you SPOAT.

I haven't ignored anything of the kind. I am on record, both then and now, stating that the GOP was taking a huge risk by not confirming Garland. I have also condemned the Ken Starr witch hunt just as strongly as I am condemning the current witch hunt being conducted by Mueller.

Exhibit A: Most people obey gun laws, the rest are subject to arrest.  Both situations are governed by laws approved by the Supreme Court.

I DO believe the allegations by Ford.  And polls say most people do.  Am I certain?  Nope.  But I also wrote above (did you miss it) that it's all games on BOTH sides.
All the Democrats care about is derailing this nomination until after the election.  All the Republicans care about is ramming it through BEFORE the election.

Yes, this is something that should be investigated, probably by the FBI, not the Senate. The women who was alleged to have been coached by Ford has denied that the incident took place or that she was ever coached for any of her polygraph tests. (She works for the Feds and gets tested periodically.) She did not say, "I don't remember." She did not say, "I was too drunk to remember." She said, "It did not happen." He said - She said. He says he witnessed coaching. Ford and the other women say no such thing ever happened.

Kavanaugh did not say "I don't remember" he did not say "I was too drunk to remember" he said "it did not happen" Ford said it happened, both Judge and Kavanaugh say no such thing happened.

I'd be curious enough to read Ford's complete  unedited question and answer lie detector test.
 If she agrees to supply that information today,  I'd agree to postpone Kavanaugh vote until next Friday 12th October, if it were up to me.  
   
 With Ford refusing to release  her lie detector test records and psychiatrist  notes in reference to the alleged  assault  I wouldn't postpone Kavanaugh's votes.

We don't have to wait till the Mid-terms to re-investigate the lil drunken college asshole during his confirmation. It took his homeboys to roll him over on being a liar and just a  plain jerk. Now this might not lead to anything, probably just a slap on the hand but this is unprecedented.
