Promises he won't use force to take Greenland.
Promises he won't impose new tariffs on European countries who criticized his power play to take over Greenland.
Then goes full dementia and serially calls Greenland "Iceland."
Time to invoke the 25th?

Yes, they are joyous because they think Trump failed and don’t recognizes the benefits this deal brings to the US. Also missed the fact that Trump nearly always asks for way more than he’ll ever get when opening a negotiation, only to get what he really wanted in the first place as a “compromise”.

...and calls it Iceland by mistake.  Biden constantly gaffes but never improves lives for Americans.

Media and the liberals:  Biden is in exceptional health and sound mind.  Trump has dementia.

So predictable...

Cuz they sure don't think so.

"Trump Deal Framework Secures Land, Mineral Rights and Defense Concessions."
A "framework" is jack shit until a final "deal" is signed.

From AI Overview:
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said the framework deal with President Trump on Greenland focuses on increased NATO presence and security in the Arctic to counter Russia/China, involving allies stepping up their contributions, securing resources (minerals), and ensuring U.S. strategic interests, with NO COMPOMISE ON DANISH SOVEREIGNTY, just joint protection of the region.

Who's lying - Trump, Rutte or ChicKenShit?

BTW - Thanks for the gif where Trump demonstrates how he jerks off two guys at the same time.

"A majority of voters disapprove of how Trump has handled top issues including the economy, immigration, the Russia-Ukraine war and his actions in Venezuela. And significantly, a majority of Americans, 51%, said that Trump’s policies had made life less affordable for them."

BigPapasan doesn’t seem to understand that before you get to a written agreement, you start with a framework. Or maybe he’s just loathe to admit that President Trump has put together a deal that supports US interests.

Then he says either Trump or Rutte is lying. He doesn’t seem to understand that parties will have different perspectives at the framework phase, and those are settled during negotiations.  Or maybe he’s loathe to admit that he doesn’t understand subtleties and that what Rutte and Trump said we’re not far apart.

Defense:
Rutte: increased NATO presence and security in the Arctic to counter Russia/China, involving allies stepping up their contributions

Trump: Defense concessions
Mineral rights:
Rutte: Securing resources

Trump: Mineral rights
Land:
Rutte: Ensuring US strategic interests

Trump: Land
BigPapasan might know a lot about homophobic insults, but he clearly doesn’t know much about subtle parsing. It’s a good thing he doesn’t work in US foreign relations.

1. Trump does over exaggerate when he negotiates

2. He is an idiot for doing #1 when talking about "taking over" a country....an allied country

3. He was an idiot talking about tariffs on countries that oppose the "take over".  It just killed or could kill any other trade deals he had in the works or were already done.

4. We need Greenland for military and global positioning.  He could have easily come out and just talked about that instead of "take over".

5.  Like mentioned libs are not understanding how he works and freak out at everything he says or does.  If they wouldn't sensationalize everything he does.....he might not be so brazen.   Look how they went off on Canada 51st State comments.   He did the same thing with Greenland..

I keep saying learn history.....look at how he acts when media gives him attention.....and he does or says the same shit again.   All to get his way.  If these other countries would look and learn from it.  Things could go smoother or they could crack him and his end game.   Look how he dealt with Mexico and redrafting NAFTA his first term.   I mentioned the Canada 51st State....then he got some trade deals done.

How's your 401K doing?  Remember a year ago when you were screaming about him wiping out all the teachers and firefighters portfolios?  Filled your car up lately?  Are you about to blame him for the winter storm hitting most of the country?

Around 40% have neither a 401K or an IRA. Gas is about the same price as it was 18 months ago.
I love snow, especially when it's falling in Vermont where I just skied today.

...negotiating the "framework" of a "deal."  How does the Secretary General of NATO have the authority to enter into a deal regarding the sovereign territory of the country of Denmark?  How can the Secretary General of NATO make a "deal" for the U.S. to acquire the mineral rights and land of Greenland?   Short answer - he can't.  The leaders of Denmark and Greenland have stated that their sovereignty and territory are not for sale.

Hey CKS175 - I will make a framework of a deal with you.  I will agree to sell you the Brooklyn Bridge.  I'm sure you will agree to it because you are a fucking moron who thinks I have the authority to sell you property which I neither own nor control.

BTW - I "loathe" people who are too stupid to know they are stupid.  I am "loath" to engage in discussions with fucking morons... like CKS175.  "Loathe" and "loath" are two different words with different meanings and pronunciation.
Stay in your lane, CKS175.  Don't try to use words which are above your level of education.

BigPapasan tried to claim that lack of a negotiated deal meant that no framework existed. It was pointed out to him in no uncertain terms frameworks come BEFORE negotiated deals.

BigPapasan also tried to claim that Trump and Rutte were worlds apart on the framework. It was pointed out to him that their perspectives actually were pretty closely aligned.

That’s when BigPapasan, the intellectual coward, ditches his argument in its entirety. He now claims that Rutte had no business speaking on the topic. If that’s the case, why did BigPapasan try to use Rutte as a foil against Trump? He continues his retreat by refusing to address the underlying question, does the framework as presented by both Trump and Rutte enhance US national security interests, or doesn’t it? He’s loath to answer that question because he would have to admit his foolish original stand in the argument.

Having been summarily humiliated on the framework argument, he slaps on his grammar police badge and whines about the difference between “loath” and “loathe”.

From the jump, CKS175 was Trump's coCKSucker-in-chief, lauding Trump for his brilliant "framework of a deal."
Trump's framework is a house of cards rather than a framework made of brick, mortar, and rebar.
CKS175 is too fucking stupid to realize Trump's "framework of a deal" is worthless because neither Denmark nor Greenland is a party to the "framework."

NATO cannot negotiate a deal, a framework of a deal or anything else regarding giving away Greenland's mineral rights, land or anything else to the U.S.  The only parties who could negotiate the framework of a deal are the U.S. and Denmark/Greenland.
