After the supreme court settled the issue. The ballots were recounted 3 times by looney Dem. newspapers and Bush won all 3 times. Also, Thousands and thousands of dirty rotten Democrat snowbirds voted by absentee ballot in there summer home states up north and then voted for Gore in FL. Voting more than once per election is a federal crime. You Dems aren't gonna get away with cheating this time. CAUSE IT WONT EVEN BE CLOSE. Bush is gonna whomp on Kerry in the debates.

"One of the most controversial aspects of the Florida election was the so-called butterfly ballot used in heavily Democratic Palm Beach County. Many voters came out of the polls saying they were confused by the ballot design.
According to the study, 5,277 voters made a clean punch for Gore and a clean punch for Reform Party nominee Pat Buchanan, candidates whose political philosophies are poles apart. An additional 1,650 voters made clean punches for Bush and Buchanan. If many of the Buchanan votes were in error brought on by a badly designed ballot, a CNN analysis found that Gore could have netted thousands of additional votes as compared with Bush.
Eighteen other counties used another confusing ballot design known as the "caterpillar" or "broken" ballot, where six or seven presidential candidates are listed in one column and the names of the remaining minor party candidates appeared at the top of a second one. According to the study, more than 15,000 people who voted for either Gore or Bush also selected one candidate in the second column, apparently thinking the second column represented a new race.
Had many of these voters not marked a minor candidate in the second column, Gore would have netted thousands of additional votes as compared with Bush.
However, the double votes on both butterfly and caterpillar ballots were clearly invalid under any interpretation of the law."

What is obvious is that you consider so many Floridian democrats too stupid to utilize a ballot designed by one of your own! Who I admit designed a moronic ballot (probably got the idea from Karl Rove in order give morons fits).
The real question is, should people this dumb be allowed to vote in the first place, if they can't operate a ballot how can they decipher the issues?
Another "reality" is your continuing whining about something that is "obviously" done and over with.
I do think many people are stupid. I think most people are sheep.
I also think that many people have a lot more immediate things to worry about than elections (as many people have to work two jobs just to get by...and spare me a new retort regarding poor people), but still try to do the right thing, even if they haven't done their homework.

A statewide recount, on the other hand, an approach Gore and his lawyers rejected as impractical, could have produced enough votes to tilt the election his way, no matter what standard was chosen to judge voter intent.
That's about as much substance GIRLIE-MAN Shrub will have at his disposal when he's forced to answer to his rotten economy, 1 million lost jobs, outsourcing of jobs, and an unjustified war which keeps getting more of our soldiers killed as time passes. We've been through THIS before, don't YOU remember?
Will Shrub win the presidential debate? It depends; on just how many DEPENDS he will be forced to use to hide the fact he's soiling himself. His odds are not good, GEEZER.
