Like minded believers

The Bible claims that whenever two or more believers get together..........that is "Church". Are there any believers here so I can claim to have gone to church today lol

Jesus taught that the kingdom of God is within

That is why it is so important that we don't judge another's path, because we have no idea what their journey is about.  We meet and see only ourselves wherever we go.  Nothing else.  Jesus became everything that oppressed mankind.  He became death for the dying, He became horror for the terrified.  He became the unwanted for the unwanted.  He became the outcast for the outcast.  He forgave the adulters and prositutes so people could move on with their lives.  There was no chains from this world he didn't conquer, and the world will never forget it.

Now, how was that for "church".  I call "church" where two or more gather and get high.  Have a joyful and happy Sunday and you will vibrate your highest energy of life force, and the universe will reflect that reality back to you

OMG.......let's make sure you understand something. Jesus gave his life for the TRULY repentant. Paul was asked specifically about being able to do as theyplease because of the princple of GRACE. His response was simply "NO". You are not truly saved if you continue in that particular sin.

Remember Jesus commanded Mary(M)to "sin no more"

that I can only change myself (and even limited) and it's hard to let go of being a control freak.  For the record, I have no beefs with whole groups of people Muslims or Bikers, Christians or Gays, the world is not black and white.  I just wanted to point out that as much as anybody can find faults with organized religion.  What if, it's the best thing going for some??

 I just want to relax, stop being a procrastinator, work on my time-management (30 minutes to check acct balances, emails, chat), find something to be excited to jump out of bed for.  So how gracefully will I let what I can't control?  And I ask myself if that makes me apathetic?  Then I come full circle with my thoughts that I can only change myself.  I have searched my soul, and I know which direction I am headed.  I put down my weapons and let people be.

P.S. I referred one my friends that's an escort, to pm you, that you might be able to help her or point her in the direction to handle a situation she is working on.  Thank You.

Jainism is the least "sinful" of the organized religions.

"The most fundamental value of Jainism is nonviolence, or "ahimsa". This word is usually found on the Jain symbol of the open palm (which means "stop"). "Ahimsa" is the first of the vows taken by both Jain householders and monks. "Ahimsa" means harming no living being as well as protecting all living beings from harm.

Ahimsa must therefore be extended not only to humans and animals, but also soil, sand, oceans, fires, insects, microbes and plants.

For this reason, most Jains are not just vegetarians but "fruitarians" - they eat only fruit, nuts and milk. These foods are acceptable because they are only the by-products of the living beings and not the living beings themselves.

This unique concept of nonviolence also explains why some Jain monks and nuns wear masks over their mouths and noses or carry whisks with which they brush chairs before sitting. To inhale or squash even a microbe would constitute violence to a living thing, resulting in unwanted karma."

My statement was very vague, as all living things feed of other living things.

But not eating the whole plant or trying not to hurt microbes.
If that's the case they would have to walk looking down as not to step on poor ants.

Maybe you don't need to be insane to be religious. But it helps.

If you truly love Jesus for the sacrifice he made, your heart's desire is to honor him. ( meaning, being obedient to his word )

Fear not, Robertini. A Jainist provider is something of an oxymoron!

This is one of the "vows" taken by followers-

 * Chastity - Bramacharya

  * Jains must have sex only with the person they are married to.
  * Jains must avoid sexual indulgence even with that person.
  * Jains must give up sex, if possible, after the marriage has yielded a son.
