And you're clearly running a campaign on this board and the General Board.  You and I seem to agree on politics but little else.  Actually, if you confined your posting on this board to politics and religion it would permit the rest of us to return to discussing the subjects we came here to discuss.
As for Gambler, I'll admit he's strong medicine.  He subscribes to the Harry Truman approach to being a mod.  Truman was known as "give 'em hell Harry," and when a reporter once asked him why he gave 'em hell, he replied:  "I don't give 'em hell.  I just tell the truth and they think it's hell." But to call him inconsistent is completely at odds with reality.  He consistently says what he thinks, and if he thinks you're an idiot, he'll say so.  But at the same time he won't pull your posts unless they are so stupid or off topic they don't deserve to stay up.  Beyond that, he's in favor of free speech and will let you have your say.  It's really pretty simple.

Polls CONSISTENTLY show that Romney is most electable with him in near dead heat with BHO. BUT, many GOP voters think Newt most electable.
Why this blind stupidity ? Because most of these voters are Tea Party members & they STRONGLY DISLIKE/MISTRUST Mitt.

The TP had their day in '10 ; different landscape now. Since they took control of the house, public sentiment turning against them. But, TP members are enraged , out of touch & WOEFULLY lacking in political pragmatism.

IF NEWT nominee, not only will GOP lose whatever depleted minority electorate they had, but women will desert them in droves. You'll see Dem landslide on order of '36, 40 or '64, with possibility of GOP losing the house, which consists of many TP members. The ultimate irony.

Lastly, author of this article claims to be "BHO's cousin"; if that's the case, INS should deport him to Kenya-----;)-----------LMFAO !

I had an experience a few years ago that helps explain the Republican mentality to some extent. I met a man who was quite enthused about Sarah Palin and hoped that she would run for President. I asked him what he liked about her and he said he didn't know but that she was a Republican and that was good enough for him.

I then said that there were other Republicans that would also be running for President and asked him how he would decide who to vote for among them. He just looked at me in complete bewilderment.

The answer to my talking intelligibly is simple. I support what the TER Admin and owners are doing. They made a request of me and asked politely so I said yes. GaGambler made the same request but didn't ask politely so I ignored him.

The problem with the Republicans isn't their candidates. The problem is that the Republican party is fractured with different ideologies. They can't seem to agree on anything as of late, except wanting to beat Obama.

This applies to all posters that think that writing like a mentally retarded 12 year old is "kewl".  Posts that don't meet a certain minimum standard for literacy will be removed. Posters that clearly are "challenged" in that area will be given a certain amount of slack. Posters like liorr and MSHSEX who are capable of writing in legible english, but for whatever reason don't, are a different story.

Now before anyone gets their panties all in a wad, this only applies to the most egregious of offenders, I have no intentions of joining the "spelling police" and lord know we all make typos, but willful butchering of the english language on a repeated basis, either for effect or out of lazyness, will not be tolerated.

As a quick aside, if you should ever feel that you are being moderated unfairly or being harassed by other TER members, talk to the TER Admins. They are very professional and will work with you on a number of issues concerning other TER members and mods. They have with me and continue to do so. The professionalism and responsiveness of the TER Admins and owners is why I fully support their efforts to make TER even better. They really do care what we TER members think and want to work with us.

It's plain that MSHSEX don't like each other, but as long as he ceases posting in gibberish, his posts will air just like everyone else's. If he goes back to his old habits, his posts here will be removed the same as liorr's. Nothing lefty or righty about it, from the little I have seen of MSHSEX's post he is a lefty and liorr is unabashedly a righty.

As for Pri, I disagree with him much more often than I agree with him, and I have taken him to task on numerous occasions, to claim that there is any favoritism where it comes to Pri is ludicrous.

While TER mods moderate TER members, TER Admins and owners  moderate TER mods (as evidenced by your post that was modified above). I've been a reg. on this board for over 2 years now. Tho GaG & I have had vast political differences & arguments over same, I've found him to be a damned fair & impartial "unofficial mod" on this board.

When he removes posts, it's over trollish violations of TER Guidelines, NOT over "political content".

Lastly, the "favoritism" bullshit that Liorr is slinging is patently untrue & idiotic.
