What I said: "Covid CAN spread outdoors. It's just harder but not impossible."

Think about this one fact. Covid can only spread in doors. It doesn’t spread outdoors. A virus that naturally emerged from nature would not have difficulty spreading outdoors, but Covid does.

When the lab leak hypothesis was first proposed, the entire media establishment tried to silence people who said it. They were called kooks and conspiracy theorists or worse. This despite that a natural origin never made sense, was completely implausible, and the outbreak begin in one of the 2 cities on earth that housed a facility that was doing research on Corona viruses. Even Fauci himself worried about a lab leak privately in his emails, despite his public statements otherwise.

What this means is that because of censorship, we were deprived of the single best tool we had to fight Covid. Being out doors. If everyone knew this, we all could have just moved outside for a week or maybe even a few days, and Covid would have been driven to extinction. The disruption would have been on par with an extended camping trip for all of humanity. A fews and done. No disruption to world economies. No over flowing hospitals. No shutting down factories for a year. No endless government spending driving up inflation.

The magnitude of this screw up cannot be over stated. Covid was a self inflicted wound. A wound that never would have happened without the arrogance and incompetence of the people who created this virus, who also managed to give us the worst of all possible recommendations to combat it. Instead of being outdoors, parks were closed down and people were locked inside their homes, the one place where the virus had a fighting chance to spread.

Why anyone could ever trust these people to so much as manage a lemonade stand is beyond me. And why none of them ever went to prison for this is a horrific injustice.

Daily he comes up with the most far-fetched, delusional vaporings this board has ever seen. Why do I say this in this case?
1) Covid CAN spread outdoors. It's just harder but not impossible. Show us, Willy, what you base this nutty conclusion on.
2) What censorship? You can only mean that Fauci censored himself. Then show us on what this is based.
3) "we all could have just moved outside for a week or maybe a few days?" Really? Covid hit the US in the winter of 2020. So people would have frozen to death. What a great alternative!
Willy is a raving loon.

1) “Studies conducted prior to omicron show that being outside greatly reduces your risk of infection with the coronavirus. One review of studies concluded that the odds of indoor transmission is almost 19 times higher than outdoor transmission. And in a study of 64 college football games during the 2020 season involving 1,190 athletes, researchers at Texas A&M University found zero spread of COVID during game play based on three postgame PCR tests over the course of a week”

3) The lockdowns didn’t begin until March and most of the lockdowns weren’t fully implemented until mid-April, just as outdoor temperatures were getting comfortable.

You made a flat statement that covid CAN'T spread outdoors. I replied that while being outside makes it harder to spread it doesn't remove the risk entirely. Your reply that being outside "greatly reduces your risk of infection" is EXACTLY what I said.
2) You made a flat statement that news of Covid was censored. But all your point proved is that FACEBOOK did some censoring, NOT that everyone did.
Please stop lying, Willy.

“researchers at Texas A&M University found zero spread of COVID during game play”.

Let me repeat the pertinent part of the quote.

“zero spread”

A virus must maintain an infection rate of 1.0 or higher. Otherwise it burns itself out. If everyone had moved outdoors, the, and I quote, “zero spread” of Covid would have quickly brought an end to the pandemic.

You asked what censorship and I gave you an example of this. There were others.

Perhaps the dumbest part of the entire pandemic was the silencing of scientists on various social media platforms. You actually had idiot journalists with the intelligence of a goddamned turnip “fact check” scientists about science. Is it any wonder why we had to be locked down for over a year when all we had to do is go outside for a week? The elites running this shit show are dumber than dog droppings.

I think you’ve yet to demonstrate that, Nicky. Show me peer reviewed research that it can spread outdoors. From the research I’ve read there’s been hardly any confirmed instances of this. And if it is indeed an *extremely* rare event, it doesn’t change my point one bit. Unless viral host replication exceeds 1.0, the virus goes extinct. A week, two at most would have ended the pandemic. No lock downs, no government spending, no vaccine that gives people heart attacks needed. When the elites decide that a vaccine that trains your immune system to attack your heart cells thinking it’s virus cells is the solution vs just going outside, which would have cost *nothing*, then we have a system that is run by idiots.

There’s plenty of instances where a lot of people have died because that’s just what Mother Nature dealt. Hurricanes, floods, famines, the plague, etc.

But Covid was man made. In a government lab. Directed and funded by the medical establishment of the USA. The research was done in China to avoid the fact that someone put the brakes on this risky, unsafe and potentially *deadly* research. And yet that research was still carried out by the Chinese under US funding and direction.

What do you call it when a set of government policies leads to millions of people dying? It’s called a *genocide*.

The people who were responsible for Covid should have faced the same consequences as those who were put on trial at Nuremberg.

Nancy Pelosi on television in late February of 2020, walking through Chinatown telling people to come on down, they don't need a mask because it's outdoors.  A month later State and local governments Newsome closed the beaches in California, and local police started issuing citations that came with fine to those running on the beach or walking their dogs.  After the majority of the people gave them the finger, they changed the policy and said you could be on the beach if you wore a mask. It turns out that NO cases of Covid were ever reported from being on the beach without a mask.  I agree with you, how can you trust the Dems to make decisions for us.  They are incompetent to the core.

Policy can only be explained by incompetence or ill intent. If it was incompetence then you’d expect them to make the right and wrong decision quite randomly. 50/50. But that’s not what we saw. We instead saw them make the worst of all possible decisions time and time again. They intentionally wrecked the country and made Covid as bad as it possibly could be. After all you don’t send Covid patients to nursing homes by accident when it’s a virus that primarily only kills the elderly.
