How did those changes lead to her being carjacked and assaulted?
How did those changes make the police slow to arrive?

As usual, you have no facts or links to back up the words you pull straight out of your ass.  It's just your typical "poetic license."
Don't you see the irony in that?

C'mon, CDL, fess up - you have NO IDEA what changes were made to the MPD, right?
Your post was a typical example of why you say you like to post on P&R:

You realize that you're not ginning up any lefties, don't you?  All you've succeeded in doing is embarrassing yourself once again with yet another one of your blathering, bloviating fact-free posts.

Minnesota Defund the Police Democrat organizer is carjacked and assaulted.  She NOW says that these thugs should be taken off the street and punished and complained about how long it took the police to arrive.  You can't make this up.  Lol

You lefties love your progressive policies till the affect you directly.

silent, ignoring the glaring duplicity inherent in the Democratic psyche.

You smear stupidity and lies here the way nut-jobs smear their feces on the walls in an asylum. I mean, we just can't be everywhere at once.

subject change when you have no substantive rebuttal.  You're on a roll with deflections tonight.  Get some sleep and come back tomorrow.

CDL: "Minnesota Defund the Police Democrat organizer..."

She IS from Minnesota.
She IS a Democrat.
She is the Second Vice Chairwoman for the Democrat-Farmer-Labor party.
She is NOT a Defund the Police organizer.  CDL's use of the word "organizer" harkens back fifteen years to when righties were branding Obama as a "community organizer" as if that was something evil.

The woman was tweeting her support for the Minneapolis City Council that was about to go to court for an emergency hearing to get a court order outlining immediate changes for the Minneapolis PD and a framework for systematic change.  The woman was clearly indicating her support for the City Council's effort to CHANGE the police.

After five Dallas police officers were killed in a 2016 mass shooting, Dallas Police Chief David Brown said: "We're asking cops to do too much in this country.  ...Every societal failure, we put it off on the cops to solve.  Not enough mental health funding, let the cops handle it.  …Here in Dallas we got a loose dog problem; let’s have the cops chase loose dogs.  Schools fail, let’s give it to the cops.  … That’s too much to ask.  Policing was never meant to solve all those problems."

This is what many activists mean when they call for the police to be defunded.  Reduce the number of responsibilities of the police, decrease police budgets to match the reduced size of the police force, and use the diverted funds to invest in programs and staff who are trained to address mental health crises, struggling schools, and other social issues.

"Defund the Police" does not mean "Abolish the Police."  It means police would have a more limited, primarily peacekeeping role.  But they would not be asked to take on other roles, like those mentioned above by Police Chief Brown.   What happened to the woman would still be the responsibility of the police...even if they were "defunded."

Wait… WHAT??? Defund the police means hamstring them so they can’t effectively police! THIS on top of DAs not prosecuting. Violent offenders making policing THAT MUCH MORE DIFFICULT!

Let’s
Take a
Trip back just a couple
Years  shall we?

From the linked article

“Chicago police sought to charge all five suspects with murder and aggravated battery after they allegedly engaged in a Friday morning gunfight between two factions of the Four Corner Hustlers street gang, the Chicago Sun-Times first reported.

The state’s attorney’s office, however, declined to charge any of them, calling the evidence insufficient. A police report further noted that prosecutors told investigators charges were rejected because the shootout involved “mutual combatants.” “

This mamby Pamby oh we’re Trying to just “restructure” the police to make them more effective… BULLSHIT IS JUST THAT!

After the Ohio police shot a girl trying to stab another girl… the left was out in force saying things like “ohhh kids get into knife fights all the time” police should t be called to those sill things!”

The protesters there were calling for out right abolishment of the police!

I think everyone here who watched the rioting of 2020 knows what "Defund the Police" was all about.  Sure, the official legislation will use sweettalk , like Re-organize the Police, but the effect is the same, which is change things in a way that will make it nearly impossible for the police to do their job.  Withholding money is the term everyone knows.  You can try to sugarcoat it all you want, but the only one buying into your explanation is YOU.  Nice try, but a total fail.   Lol

The end result is that some changes WERE made that this woman wanted, and the result is that those changes led to her being car-jacked and assaulted, and the police slow to arrive.  Don't you see the irony in that?

posted it in the wrong place.  Changes in policies creates situations.  A more aggressive police approach is likely to lower crime and create a safer environment for the citizens.  The city council enacted new measures to LIMIT police response and lowered the budget of the police to take certain policing activities that most residents consider the norm off the table for the future.  If your government takes actions that create a more hostile environment and an attitude towards ignoring some types of crimes, criminals will be emboldened to escalate the violence.  There doesn't have to be a direct link between the canceling of police funding and a specific crime, but simply creating an unsafe atmosphere will predictably lead to more random crimes because criminals feel less pressure from police.

CDL: "The city council enacted new measures to LIMIT police response and lowered the budget of the police to take certain policing activities that most residents consider the norm off the table for the future."

You provided NO LINKS to back up that statement.  What new "measures" did the Minneapolis City Council enact to LIMIT police response?  How much did the Minneapolis City Council lower the budget of the police?

The statement I quoted sounds like it came straight out of your ass.  If you don't provide a link, everyone will know you LIED.
