Should be interesting to see how this impacts dmv (dc, Maryland,  Virginia)

In addition, the order prohibits agencies from hiring private contractors to perform work “to circumvent the intent” of Trump’s memo. Federal agencies can reallocate money “to meet the highest priority needs and to ensure that essential services are not interrupted and national security is not affected,” the memo read.

That will put their donors out of work.  They will reduce government workers and transfer the savings over to their contract donors. Simple.

This time it will be different.  Remember who advises Trump.

This looks like an experiment to see how the public reacts. The contract freeze will be interesting. Government contractors subject too not receiving new contracts/renewals and stop work orders could begin layoffs. It is possible this policy could happen to other agencies.  These corporations could cut salaries and benefits as a result.

He is putting some very smart people in charge of the government. He also has some top notch advisors. One of the prophets said there will be a economic boom. So we have more jobs coming into the US, which means more people paying taxes. That sounds like a good way to bring down the deficit.  The future laid off government contractors can go to other sectors of the economy looking for workers.

...Here we go another fascist move by Trump, he is so afraid we might hear a message that differs from his that he orders a communications shut down, just another fear based action by this clown.

...then I hope the gutted E.P.A. & the interior dpt. allow gold mining in your backyard so you will get to learn the taste of cyanide. Almost as stupid as running a pipeline of high sulfur Canadian oil/sand thru the largest aquafer in America, I just can't wait for the leaks. It's actually beyond stupid the only benefit to the American economy  is keeping a Huston Texas refinery busy refining high sulfur oil that pollutes to much to be used in the U.S. most of which will be sold to countries with lower pollution standards to burn there.

...A chance? as if we have a choice & as for the (smart people) every one of Trumps hand picked smarties is in place to stop our federal government actions & privatize as many of our current services as possible, like private education, just  ask any former student of Trump university.

...Oh I forgot Thump's new E.P.A. standards will probably lower our oil/ sulfur standards so we can burn the Canadian oil here to try to emulate the air quality in China.
