I thought neither one of them did particularly well, but the biggest take away was the absurd performance of ABC News. If you go back and look at the CNN debate between Trump and Biden you can see they surprisingly did a great job. Completely neutral, professional, and doing what moderators are supposed to do, asking unbiased questions.  

CNN was very even handed in their debate moderating. This ABC was the most biased in modern times. Just awful.

But they gave Trump more lead way to allow Trump to have the last word on all questions.
Harris had to be 2X better, I think she was 1.5X.
They didn’t allow Harris to counter the Viktor Orbán reference… it was a lost moment.
But she used the word I hope she’d use on him, calling him “weak”.

She did okay attacking Trump, however everything she attacked him on is old news.  Everyone has seen those same charges ad nauseam. So she wasted time there for an optics win but didn't explain her own policies or flip flops.

Because in their post debate poll, they had Kamala clobbering Trump, 63-37. And you don't want to hear about the PA focus group they did. Spoiler alert: It didn't go well for Team Orange.

But those wanting to at least see her and if she can command the moment, she did that . And she exposed Trump as someone without a plan.
Not everyone is like you, gluded to this shit so most are probably now thinking , “Yeah I can see her leading this country “

....just waiting for her to do even the slightest bit good in the debate so he couldpost it 5 secondsafter. Ass kicking is what happened last time there was adebate. Ass kicking is what I do to the TATL every time I post behind him. This was no ass kicking.  

Trump without a plan? She's the one who still hasn't let anyone know what her policies are. One day she is going to confiscate all guns, the next day she flip flops. Nobody knows what she really believes.

What dimwits like Fester don't get is in the CNN-moderated debate one of the ground rules going in was the moderators would not fact-check the participants. So they let Trump get away with numerous lies and Biden failed to pick up the ball. In this debate the moderators were permitted to fact-check in real time and Trump agreed to that. He could have avoided it by just not blatantly lying. But he can't help himself. Trump actually should be grateful because he lied more than 30 times and there just wasn't enough time for the moderators to call him out on every one. Harris did a good job of picking up that ball but even she had to let loads of Trump lies go un-rebutted.
Trump was lucky it wasn't worse for him.

Our leading "Legend in his own mind" continues lying about his dismal performance on this board, where he humiliates himself every time. After which he declares victory.

CSPAN viewers had a different take.

The job of a moderator is to ask tough challenging questions of each candidate and to maintain a balance in responses between both. They’re not there to debate the candidate themselves. We’ve had both good and bad debate moderators in past election cycles, but this was unprecedented. The main take away from this was ABC News were the ones debating Trump, not Harris.

Why would Harris take so much heat avoiding interviews, all her past interviews show she completely bombed them and then go into a debate where she shows she can handle herself as well as any average politician? How does any of these things make sense?

TATL hates facts which is why he's the loser of all losers. So our leading "Fantasy world, hottie feasting liar" just continues to lie on top of lies .....to get out of another lie. His embarrassing posts on this board should send him packing but nope, he's so stupid that he just keeps coming back for more. If that wasn't enough,  he humiliates himself constantly and doesn't even know it.  
 Here's a hint TATL: if you run around here pounding your chest because you "think" everyone believes your constant lies. You a bigger loser than Biden.  

She came very late to this party for all the reasons you should know. She had to put together a campaign organization, manage a convention and develop positions on the important issues that reflected her values and not simply those of Biden. While she was doing this she was understandably reluctant to do interviews where she might be pinned down and enunciate policies she'd later have to change.
What's so strange about that?

In his closing Trump asked why she hadn't done any of here proposals in the last 3.5 years.  Easily remembered.

But she didn’t. And the interview she did on CNN she was visibly tense and nervous. Why? It doesn’t make any sense. If it was because he hadn’t finalized policy details, why not give any interview the big picture and just tell them her campaign is still working on the finer details? Something doesn’t add up. And Harris in no way kicked anyone’s ass. She just didn’t bomb like most people were expecting. What everyone is going to remember about the debate isn’t Trump or Harris, it’s going to be ABC News.

Interesting that you fault Willy for posting the results of the CSPAN X Poll without a link while ignoring Robert’s post, which initiated the subthread based on his posting the results of CNN’s X Poll.

Reputable journalists have said Trump lied around two dozen times while Harris lied twice. And what about she and Walz being gun owners is wrong? Walz actually won the rifle target shooting contest among Congressmen. Harris, as a law enforcement officer has probably had a pistol permit for many years.
