Now COPS want violence committed against them to be considered a hate crime. Notwithstanding that no one ever catches a break when someone commits assault, much less kills a COP. The whining by the police unions is laughable.  They don't ever want to be held accountable for their abuses.  When politicians do try to hold them accountable, the unions tell their membership to effectively not do their jobs.  File federal lawsuits when their members are place on PAID administrative leave when they shoot and kill unarmed suspects over 137 time hitting each over 20 times in Cleveland.

That hate crime legislation is ridiculous and absurd on its face. I am against the police going down this road but it was liberals that opened this door.

Murdering a gay man is not worse than murdering a straight man. Murdering a cop is not worse than murdering a non cop, and the list goes on and on.

Maybe you are ready to reconsider your position on unions as well?
