I'm a very strong and vocal supporter of Israel. I'm also a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment. For these views, I've been called a conservative right wing extremist on this board.
In my view, the Bush Administration has done tremendous damage to the US economically, as well as the image of America as a world leader. I am very strongly pro-choice, and believe the government should be responsible for its citizens who are unable to fend for themselves. For these views, I've been called a liberal left-wing looney toon on this board.
So somehow, I've managed to offend just about EVERYBODY at one point or another.
I'm also a bloviating windbag who likes to read his own writing... oh wait... that statement can be applied to almost EVERY regular contributor here, be they right, left, center, or from somewhere nearer to Betelgeuse than Boston.
It can be very frustrating when you are as sane and rational as I am (please note, my tongue is firmly planted in cheek at this point) to read some of the stuff I read in here, but at the end of the day, we all have control over our actions, so there must be a reason we're all here.

"entire" is certainly over the top. However, most of the posts I have read on this board are equally as lavish.
I have made a total of six posts on this board....so I guess your conclusion that "most" of my posts are over the top is correct.

I would tend to agree with your main interpretation; the majority of the most active posters currently are Rep supporters, but that wasn't always the case here. Perhaps it goes in cycles. It doesn't change as often as the weather in DC, but it will probably swing back again the other way at some time.

The more conservative posters have done nothing but express their views, but somehow the left construes that as "opposing views can not even have a voice."
I don't know when anyone was prohibited from posting. There are a slew of people who represent the other side.
Of course, if anyone says anything that disagrees with the left, the world is coming to an end. I would wager that the left is far less tolerant of dissent than the right. Look what happened to poor Lieberman. He has a solid Democratic record on 90% of the issues you can name: Labor, education, civil rights, abortion, etc, etc, etc. He disagrees on one position and he is out on his ass.
When he ran for his first term I was at a meeting where they had lawn signs for Schwartzeneger, who turned out to be a disappointment.

Same thing on the EC. A couple lefties might disagree but as a whole the left is immature and quite anarchy inclined..Kind of like the dude in The Crow{Brandon Lee version} always starting fires.. or young Islamic radicals without the Religion..
I am new to this board and all of my posts can be seen in the last few threads. I defy you to actually read the responses that I have received from conservative posters and characterizing them as just as simple expressions of opposing views. Many (perhaps the majority) are straight attacks. They are not even attacks of my views or my expressions, but attacks of things that have nothing to do with me.

And why did you post this? If you want an opposing view then by all means post away - create your own threads on issues, support them with facts - and back them up with references... a few months back, on the issue of global warming - I wrote several pieces that layed out Some of the scientific evidence that would teach the oppostite of global warming - articles published in scientific journals - I also quoted several climatologists who went on record to state that EVEN IF global warming was actually happening - that they would question that it is cause by man... only to have those who had the opposite view - call me names....
After that, I don't go into as much depth in my quotes reviews, and annotations... why? Cause most on this board with an opposing view - just call names.... and I figure that their vocabulary is limited because they are either stupid or ignorant - Ignorant we can fix.... but stupid - well - that's with ya for life.
So you see, the door swings BOTH ways.

I believe if you haven't offended everybody on this board at least once you've got to be one of those koolaid drinkers that has no independent thoughts of your own. I am sure that I have offended at least as many people here as you, if not I'll try harder(and drink more) lol
I would love to vote for "none of the above" but in my opinion that would be the same as a tacit vote for Obama and I just couldn't live with myself if I did that. Voting for McCain is the only way I can vote against Obama.

1. I read and reread my stuff because I forget what I wrote and if I have to follow up I want to avoid contradicting myself.
