The Times has an interesting piece today in which they interview lots of suburban white women who voted for Trump the last time but are repulsed by him now. His race-baiting is backfiring on him.

Apparently there were three groups who voted for Trump;

 
1)  The hard core, racist, far right, KKK, radical extremists, who Trump continues to court

 
2)  Those who are politically unsavvy, have little education, are totally unaware of the issues facing our nation today

 
3)  Those who profess they would vote for anybody but Hillary Clinton

 
Am guessing Trump will never lose the first group, he may lose a negligible number of voters in the second group.  I believe the third group is they key and have a feeling he will lose most of his voters from the third group, once they wake up and pay attention.

Hillary, as unlikeable as she was/is was at least known as a tough broad. Joe might not be as unlikeable as her, but very few people think he would actually be running anything if he were to be elected which is why his choice of a running mate  is such a big deal this election cycle, much like it was in 2008 when McCain was running, By contrast, did anyone care about Obama's pick for VP, or Romney, Bush, or even Trump?

I mean so dumb he literally suggested on live television that scientists should explore injecting household cleaners into people’s lungs to cure the coronavirus. So yes he's that dumb....and he's base is even dumber for buying into his shit. So go figure.

Group Two, I'd say 50/50, or maybe 60/40 in favor of trump depending on racial make up, income, location..
Group Three, 80/20 Biden...That's the group that is having serious voter remorse from 2016. They're thinking, "Never again", or "Fuck, what did I do?"....lessons learned here.
