Regardless, the Chinese economy never should have been permitted to grow the way it did. The idiotic elites in the USA thought it would be a dandy idea to build up and enrich a communist dictatorship, and screw over the working class in the USA by shipping those jobs to China. The business people who did this should have been charged with treason. The politicians who enabled it should have been charged with treason.

Shipping US jobs to China harmed the national security of the United States. Not by a little bit. But by a lot. To the point where our own medical staff didn’t have PPE during a pandemic.  

Therefore, charge them with treason. If we can charge Trump with racketeering for trying to win an election, then we can charge Clinton, Bush and Obama with treason for signing free trade agreements that gutted manufacturing jobs from our economy.

They pledged to buy $200 million of US goods and bought barely half that much. Trump also proved clueless about who benefitted from the tariffs he imposed.
