Seriously, these people are idiots.  They don't like the government but want to stay in their hometown or whatever.  genius.  Of all these states, the only one that has a REMOTE chance of succeeding by itself is Texas, and that's because they have oil.  I'm pretty sure Uncle Sam is not going to have defense contractors in other countries.  The states of the SEC get more money from the fed then they put in, so where is THAT money going to come from?  Where will their food come from?  California provides more than 50% of the nation's fresh fruits and vegetables.  Can you say taxes and tariffs?  After that Enron debacle, you can bet CA would love to charge these "new countries" a ridiculous rate for fresh food, knowing full well they really can't get it anywhere else.  And is that NEW JERSEY I see?  Did you want the Fed to pay for all your repairs first, then let you secede?  Oh God, the stupidity is hurting my head...
