That said, you're totally deluded. Martha's Vineyard is a summer resort. As such, it has no jobs for half the year. It also has no facilities for housing homeless or unemployed people no matter where they come from.
But Massachusetts, the state where the Vineyard is located, DOES have the ability to care for these people and it will, despite their having been used as pawns by a toxic political charlatan.
Also, there are LOTS of jobs available and the northeastern states can use people who are willing to work. Many upstate NY small cities have been revitalized by immigrants in recent years, who have fixed up old houses, started businesses and created jobs in places that weren't doing well economically.
This country needs people who want to work and value freedom. Especially those from Venezuela who ended up on the Vineyard, who are fleeing toxic Communism.

Clearly this was a shameful political stunt. What is DeSantis doing spending Florida tax dollars to fly refugees in Texas to Massachusetts? Are Florida citizens okay with this use of their tax dollars? Was this even legal? Were these refugees lied to or coerced to get on the planes? How can they get to their legally entitled asylum court hearings if they have been moved halfway around the country? Why would you be so callous as to send them to a homeless shelter when they’re surrounded by million dollar mansions? There’s a few Martha’s Vineyard FB groups that were pretty telling. One guy who owns two summer homes in MV that’s currently empty wouldn’t let these poor migrants stay in his home. But he did think that Kyle Rittenhouse should be executed. Another lady was desperately trying to get a locksmith to stop by to change her locks to protect herself from all that dangerous diversity outside. Pretty quickly members of the community started to turn on one another and started cussing each other out for not housing all that diversity so they wouldn’t have to deal with it themselves. Wow, I really think that just with a little more diversity (read 3,000 747s full of illegals) that this could be a teaching moment for the pampered left who are eager to be compassionate when they don’t have to deal with the consequences of their actions. It forced asylum seekers including children to wait in dangerous and unsafe circumstances without access to legal, medical, or social support. The policy was arguably in violation of both US and international law. There is no evidence to suggest these refugees are voting illegally or engaged in criminal activity while they wait in the US for their immigration court hearings. SCOTUS ruled that the Biden administration has the authority to terminate this contentious trump era program.

One of the WORST failed Communist states in this hemisphere. They are escaping Communism. But you don't to let them in. If you won't let them in, who WOULD you let in? No One?

Yes non-citizens commit crimes. So do citizens. In fact many studies have shown that immigrants committed crimes at a lesser rate than U.S. born citizens. It’s not really true that you can’t find Americans to do those jobs. You just can’t find them to do it while paying them the same wages you’d pay an illegal.
