Kelly Emby, a hot-looking Orange County deputy District Attorney, and an acquaintance of mine, who has been fighting the Federal Vaccine Mandates, died yesterday from complications of Covid after testing positive two days earlier. I guess nobody told her that she could get vaccinated and STILL fight the vaccine mandates for others. Too bad. I will miss her at the local GOP fund raisers. She was a gifted speaker for Republican causes.
Second, she was very cute.
Third, it looks like you misspelled her last name. I think it's "Ernby."
Fourth, and most important CDL is...why? Why are so many people on the right risking death over getting a 2 second shot in their arm? I am not asking in a mocking fashion. I truly want to know why the Republicans are literally dying on the hill of the unvaccinated.
I can understand it more for very low info/poor voters. They, as a group, probably aren't in touch with the best health care and nor do they pay attention to their health as much as they should due to lack of education or just faulty priorities.
But where I scratch my head is why reasonably intelligent and well educated Republicans, in case after case, are foregoing the shot with tragic consequences. Can you enlighten me on this issue? It boggles my mind.
I had a typo, but like many others here, I do not edit because it sits in moderation for hours if you do. I can't disagree with you that low-information voters are in this group, but it also transcends party lines. There are a large number of Dems who are not vaccinated as well, particularly among Hispanics and Blacks (which I could argue fit the low-information voter profile. But I think Biden and Harris share some of the blame for Dems not getting the vaccine. They ran their whole campaign on the argument that vaccines would not work and nobody will want to take them because Trump was responsible for their creation. There are still video clips on the internet of these two making those arguments throughout the campaign. Many Dems made up their minds then that they would never get it because Joe and Kamala said it was risky.
I agree with you that educated Republicans not getting it makes no sense. Bubba in Arkansas is understandable.
I believe what they said was that if TRUMP told them to take it they'd be skeptical BUT that if Fauci and the scientists said they should do it they absolutely would. Not to mention that for an entire year now they've been telling people to get the shots.
It's true Blacks have been skeptical but that's because historically they've been abused by the medical system (such as the Tuskeegee experiments).
None of it makes any sense because most school kids are required to be vaccinated for rubella, smallpox, etc. before being allowed to attend school. And EVERYONE is vaccinated against Polio.
it became apparent that the vaccines would not be available before the election, but there are plenty of video clips online up through September 2020 where they were emphatic about not trusting the "Trump vaccine." Low-information voters may have seen the early bashing of vaccines, decided to vote for Biden, and then tuned out for the softening of his position closer to the election.
With Hispanics in California, the low vaccine rate seems to stem from them not wanting to be registered in the "system." All of the "tracing" that was part of the initial control effort would expose their friends and relatives who might be illegals and living UTR. The highest Covid rates in CA have consistently been in the Hispanic residential areas. Hispanics in CA have tended to vote Dem, but there are signs that this is slowly changing and more are switching to Republican.
You thought her name WAS "Emby" because the 'r' and the 'n' together could look like an 'm' to the casual reader, especially an old timer like you whose vision is obviously going. But you claim she was an acquaintance and that you saw her give speeches at GOP fundraisers. If that was true, you would have heard her name and would have known it was "Ernby," not "Emby."
You never heard of her in your life and she wasn't an acquaintance of yours. You never met her and the only reason you think she was "hot-looking" is because of the professional photo of her in the blue dress with the professional hair and makeup that's in all the articles about her. She looked about as much like that as your K-girls look like THEIR photos.
I didn't know her but I interacted with her on a professional basis on a couple of occasions. She wasn't unattractive but she certainly wasn't "hot-looking." She also had somewhat of a dumpy body.
She looked more like this in real life than in the only photo you've ever seen her in:
…when you can’t discuss the risks of the vaccine. There’s a little girl who’s in a wheelchair and eating through a feeding tube because she took the vaccine. It’s idiotic that we’re trying to vaccinate everyone. This is only going to drive more mutations. We should have vaccinated the elderly and those most vulnerable only, and everyone else should have taken ivermectin. We should have treated everyone early with hydroxychloroquine. We didn’t because the same FDA officials who gave us the opioid epidemic made it impossible to treat people with these drugs despite that hydroxychloroquine was the go-to drug to treat SARS-1. These FDA officials did what they did so they could give kick backs to Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson, and those companies will eventually thank them by giving them cushy jobs in the not too distant future.
And her representing the OC in Calf, there's probably close to 70% of the republican party there who are still having their little temper tantrums who won't get the vaccine. Well, sucks to be her and maybe she can be an examples as to why you should get the vaccine. But I doubt it.
Anyways she was 46, kinda one foot in the grave, so...Do thoughts and prayer count here??
"one foot in the grave, I must be buried up to my chest and don't even realize it. Lol
...then why did she finish a distant THIRD out of THREE in the election for California State Assembly in 2020?

...to my post in this thread where I totally debunked the bunk in your false narrative. You referred to Kelly ERNBY as Kelly EMBY. You did this because you had never heard of her and only read her name after she died and it looked like "Emby" to you because "Ernby" can be mistaken for "Emby" since the 'r' and 'n' are so close together.
Then you totally made up your OP about you and her. Kelly Ernby was NOT an "acquaintance" of yours as you said in your OP. You NEVER heard her speak at "local GOP fund raisers." If you had heard her speak at "local GOP fund raisers" you would have heard her introduced SEVERAL TIMES as Kelly "Enbry," not Kelly "Emby."
The debate is over because you have no argument about your own lies in the OP. You didn't make a typo - you never heard the name "Ernby." My analysis of your OP is unassailable.
