The recent missile launch off of California (which the public is told is an airplane), the Carnival Splendor engine fire, and the diversion of the USS Ronald Reagan from its planned duty of accompanying president Obama to India as part of the bodyguard fleet are all related to the Stargate effort of protecting earth from Goa'uld remnants and other aliens.
