Another example of a 'Palinism' is, "I can see Russia from my backyard", when that actually was said by Tina Fey, doing an excellent job of her Palin impersonation on SNL. The media took it and ran with it as fast as they could, and before long, the dimbulbs were convinced Palin had uttered those words.

A large number of the populace would breath much cleaner air if they'd only pull their heads out of their collective asses, and search for the truth.

Obama was the person who said there were 57 states.  The only time that Palin said that (wrote it, actually) was in reference to Obama saying it.  She was not incorporating the state, but just using it as an example of people who make slips and mistakes.

To say that she said it woud be like for me to quote Karl Marx on  "from each according to his ability," and then have you say that Phil said that.

Of course, if you distort the context, you can have Phil say that or Palin say there are 57 states.

The irony is you use this as an example of someone being stupid, but the person who said was Obama.

Get your quotes correct.

Of course even the "real Palin" would be a scary prospect for POTUS, but the media has done a great job of villianizing her before she even got started.

You do have to admit however, that despite all the media's and the left's efforts to discredit her, she still not only survives in the public eye, but is actually thriving. It does make one respect the "bubba vote", like it or not, they do make a rather large voting bloc.
