What was the reasoning behind McCain's choice to deliberately not even look at Obama last night?

Did you miss the beginning?  The moderator made it clear that the format of this debate was not to talk to the American people.  This debate was supposed to be a point/counter-point debate between the two, not a delivery of speeches to the public.

Probably had to do with the ad the DEMS aired trying to run even CNN will not play . Howard Deans brother did it and you do not see Obama  saying it should not be ran .
