I would agree the board shifted left a while ago but it's hardly that way now.  You've got Laffy, sure, but his friend (and yours) JeffEng is gone.  Then there's Willy, who's really a sort of hybrid.  Also, you're good buddy Pri left.  And, as you know, I'm left of center but not even as far left as Willy, let alone Laffy.  But I almost never post here because I find most of the rhetoric and arguments pointless and, ultimately, boring.
So that leaves Laffy pretty much alone on the far left, sometimes joined by BPsan.  Even if you add Willy (and he and Laffy hardly make a bloc, since they can't stand each other.) that hardly is proof of a leftward swing.  Just look at the train wreck about Boston the other day (most of which I did not read beyond glancing at the subject lines), which was The Entire Board vs. Laffy.
So, leftward swing?  I think not.
