Military training soldiers to be govt paid evangelicals?

What exactly is a military chaplains job? Looks like; it might be,  To spread  Christianity to people in their darkest hours of combat..

This was so over the top, I had to share...

I know both the left, and the right worship the military, and honestly believe they're a force for good..  That's freedom they're spreading with those bombs! So I fully expect to be personally attacked for this post..

But, this shit is wrong

and the church has been doing so to our young soldiers I imagine from the beginning. This actually predates the US by thousands of years, I would think the Crusades, while not thousands of years ago, would be a great example of this.

I do agree it's sickening, but it's hardly new.

why is this not being constitutionally challenged. Isn't this clearly government trying to shove religion down people's throat and a clear violation of 1st Amendment.  

Am I missing something.. I think I am...

I really don't see that changing, but we do have the loony left to thank for it not being even worse than it is.

in a way I do like the way our two party system works, the balance of power swings like a pendulum, but neither side ever gets enough real, lasting power to do too much damage. Whenever one party is in complete control we get shit like the Patriot Act and ObamaCare. That's why I vote for gridlock, neither party is to be trusted IMO.

let's get this straight, our government is ok with this... but at the same time no religious stuff in our courts etc?

Not saying that they should be one in the same... just that our government isn't consistent.

What is even more appalling is that they get paid to do the such. Talk about an agenda to convert. Example of extremists in any religion right here. They just got "smarter" from the Crusades.

Hey Jewish people are in the military! Ok, not in America, but in Isreal. I sort of like that all young people have to do the 2 years service. Teaches them values and grows them up. Now of course, I don't like everything they do over there. Just saying I think kids need to be taught how to be an adult and not a screw off. Very good point though, as to why they are not signing up for the love of their (current) country.

Ugh, Gambler, we think too much alike... both sides are crappy  overall. Vote SexyFlirtAmber next time at the polls!!! lol
