I remember election night. usual Republican hangouts were pretty light on attendance. Then states started flipping like Ohio and Wisconsin, it was surrealistic.

You didn't feel sorry for the snowflakes in the slightest, you were too busy laughing your fucking ass off at their shock, anguish and bewilderment as the realization that they lost began to set in.

Ok, sorry is too strong a word. Maybe a momentary mental lapse with a very brief moment of condescending pity. Followed by lengthy and sustained laughing and mockery.

It was great.  Hanging out in a local bar where several Republicans had been in a back room waiting to celebrate a Romney win.  One of them, a lady who was quite drunk and angry at the outcome, somehow figured me for a Democrat (my huge grin, perhaps?) and started to berate me while I laughed my ass off.
So enjoy your warm, fuzzy memories, Tippy, cuz it's gonna happen again.  Soon.

His administration is crumbling before his very eyes, Scandal after scandal His constant denying ...If you had all the shit that's going on and the only thing you have now is the "Good ol days" to reflect on..then yes, I can see this being a good night...But the media will pick up on Monday..so I hope he enjoyed it. almost everyone knew that the incumbent President Obama was going to win that night and by a comfortable margin.  Trying to compare the "surprise" of that night with what happened on Nov. 8, 2016 is like trying to compare the grammar and sentence structure skills of bigguy30 with just about anyone else's in America.

I'm  hoping for a 'neither' Jake. It is, though, going to be an outsider again. As crazy as it sounds, hope its Dwayne the Rock Johnson. If its Oprah, you will all take great pleasure in knowing that I offed myself. Probably jumping off a bridge. A gun would just add to the statistics of gun deaths.

but none of the reputable major media outlets -- even the conservative Fox News Channel -- were predicting a Romney win.  Sure, there was the occasional pundit like former Bill Clinton hanger-on Dick Morris (who on FNC predicted Romney in a landslide) that tried to stick their neck out but Obama was -- as most incumbent candidates are -- a clear-cut favorite and the odds-on winner.  

I thought about saying you must be OLDER than Jake, but a moment of clarity overwhelmed me, as I realized NO ONE is older than Jake. LOL

All I did was share an anecdote.  Un-wad your panties and stop trying to make too much of it.  I can guarantee you that drunken lady sure had her hopes up.

Name one real potential candidate for either party that is hotter than Harris. Fiorina?  Yeah, no. Hillary Clinton? No, but the saving grace would have been Huma Abedin, I would fuck the shit out of that piece of ass. Ivanka Trump, oh yes. I've met her before, and she is hotter in person. As a friend noted, a few million dollars buys you a nice face and ass.  True, very true.

It's  the alleged Qatar situation that could blow up. If true, this could be devastating to the WH. JK's 1.2b balloon payment is due soon and he's looking for investors to bail him out in the most unscrupulous way....If 666 defaults, his whole family business will go down the drain.
And there was talk of the UAE actually invading Qatar with mercenaries, with our military base there.  
My thinking is, why doesn't trump lend him the money just to get over this. Who needs this cloud over his head??

Check yourself. Trump is the biggest fuck-up, idiot in charge that this country has ever seen in the oval. Yeah, he has a base (which is a clear minority of actual people in the US). But even his hardcore base will eventually get clued into the fact that his campaign promises are complete bullshit. First they'll lose their health insurance, and then they'll figure out their coal mining/steel jobs are not going to magically reappear and then  they'll realize that, NO Mexico will not be paying for a wall. Then they'll get hit with price increases across the board on all the cheap shit they're used to buying at walmart when he fucks-up NAFTA, and then the price of their ford trucks will jump up after he gets the US into a trade war over aluminum and steel....companies will continue to offshore manufacturing jobs....He won't make it for round 2. Hell, he might not even make it through the end of round 1 given how neck deep this administration is in scandals and unethical behavior.
