from this board.  In the last few days, I have had about one third of my posts removed due to "removal of the thread."  Coincidentally, or not, they were many of my best ones, so I can only surmise that someone here on the left has gotten trigger-happy with the RAP button.  There is no value for me in engaging here only to have the time I spend wasted by others who don't want my posts to stay up because my points are often irrefutable.  I daresay, the same thing seems to be happening to a few others.  I'm still behind on writing reviews, so my time is better spent on that.  This is fun while it lasted, but censorship using the RAP button makes it not worth my time here.  If things improve, maybe I will come back.  I was gone before for this same reason for several months, so it may not be permanent, but it will at least continue until I see the RAP'ers have figured out that there is no one left to debate.  I can only imagine how fast someone will report this one.  LOL

I've also had most of my posts removed as well. And not because I asked TER to do it. Personally, I think TER is doing this themselves in an, I think, misguided attempt to keep debate more civil. Do you honestly think your removed posts were "many of my best ones?" LMAO!
Stop whining and man up.

I agree. I hardly post these days. My posts got deleted by thread deletion.

I've had posts removed as well ... usually rebuttals to CDL. In this case, I agree that someone (someone using RAP? TER Admins?) is a little too quick with their post-deletion trigger finger.

Many months ago (can't find my post), I said something like, "If I was a moderator, ..." I would edit submissions like your 7th grade English teacher: "Include a link to back up this claim. No link; no post." "Use paragraph breaks." "Delete the ad hominem here, here, here, and here." "Replace ambiguous pronouns with specific nouns so we know what you're talking about." "Edit and resubmit ... and I will re-evaluate, which is more generous than your 7th grade English teacher who would give you a D- or F without recourse."

Volume definitely is down. It’s like it’s not worth it posting sometimes. Threads deleted, threads moved to other forums, threads closed without reason or explanation.

How self-important do you think you are that you have to "announce" that you're taking a break?  There have been hundreds of posters who posted here for years but no longer post.  Do you know how many of them announced they were leaving?  Zero, zip, zilch.  They did what Gen. MacArthur said to do - just fade away.

You really are a joke.

I've posted a few things here and there that got the ban hammer recently.  It does tend to discourage even engaging.  Heavy handed moderation usually kills the motivation.
.
But its not like this forum matters to anyone.  So let'm kill it.

Trump "counted" over 1 million people at his inauguration. Even Fox reported on his counting ability.
http://www.foxnews.com/us/fact-check-trump-overstates-crowd-size-at-inaugural
"... TRUMP: "I made a speech. I looked out. The field was — it looked like a million, a million and a half people." ..."
"THE FACTS: Trump is wrong. Photos of the National Mall from his inauguration make clear that the crowd did not extend to the Washington Monument. Large swaths of empty space are visible on the Mall."
.
Trump counts 68 stories in Trump Tower. The rest of the world counts 58 stories. Even a four year can count to 58 correctly.
http://theweek.com/speedreads/642716/10-floors-are-missing-from-trump-tower
"The Trump Organization claims that Manhattan's Trump Tower rises 68 stories over Fifth Avenue, although databases such as the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitats say the tower is only technically 58 stories tall."
.
Trump claimed THOUSANDS of dead people voted in the 2020 election.  Even a four year old can count to four and then stop when there is nothing else left to count.
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-dead-voters-georgia-election-b1983011.html
"Debunked: Trump claimed thousands of ‘dead’ voters in Georgia. The state election board found only four."
.
Trump has played fast and loose with numbers since the 1970s (or earlier!).  Where is your criticism of your cult leader, that "A 4-year old can count better than" Trump?
